Seriously, I don't see what the super big deal was. I didn't see the dunk live. The replays are impressive but Griffin has had much better dunks IMO.
IMO, LeBron's dunk over JL3 blows this one away. Not even close. I wonder how many players in NBA history could have done it.
On the next possession Blake had a wide open dunk because right when he caught the ball, Durant ran out of the way so he wouldn't get posterized. When asked why he didn't contest, he claimed he would've contested but Evans pushed him out. On the replay, it's obvious Durant just ran his ass out of the way so he wouldn't get dunked on. Evans barely touched him. He seemed mad when they were asking him about Blake's dunks
"I wasn't surprised because Blake is a poster child," Durant said. "He dunks the ball a lot and makes spectacular plays. If it wasn't against us, maybe I'd say it was a good play, but it was against us, so it was a bad play. I have nothing against Blake, don't get me wrong. But it was against us, so I've got to stick up for my teammate." I guess it was a slow day at espn.
"If it wasn't against us, maybe I'd say it was a good play, but it was against us, so it was a bad play." Awesome. +1 rep for K.D.
Since he is discrediting a poster dunk on his own teammate I don't see what's wrong with what he's doing. He is just sticking up for his own teammates.
lucas is what 5'9? and he's facing away lebron. vince carter can do that even when he's 40. remember carter jumped over a 7'2 man.
