the providers wouldn't make any money on this platform because nobody really watches ALL the channels that come in those basic programming deals to justify the price. We'd all be picking 5-10 channels and paying a lot less money.
Pshh, then you don't get telenovelas. You don't have to understand what they're saying. I watch it sometimes because those girls are HOT.
So many cable channels have deviated from their original purpose. Which makes sense if you think about it from a business point of view (appealing to a wide audience is more profitable than appealing to a niche interest group), but sucks for their original fans. History is all about pawn shops, garage sails, or guys doing outdoor work. ABC Family should be renamed ABC Teenage Girl. MTV is too easy to criticize.
All of them. All sports are streamed online, the few good shows can be downloaded from torrent sites. TV is obsolete.
Uh...no. Not many shows are created to be downloaded on bit torrent. Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog was created for the internet and streaming sites like Hulu (which is backed by major networks) and the new Netflix original series "House of Cards" that's coming out will only be available online but to say that TV is obsolete is not true at all.
I haven't even seen this channel and know implicitly that this post is coming strong down the lane, and about to dunk on ya'll fools. repp'd Also, lifetime is EXTREMELY if you wanna have sex EVER, and I mean EVER in life.
I haven't had a TV for 2 years and I have never had trouble finding any show online (even obscure or old ones). I agree with the original poster that TVs are obsolete and on the way out.
There isn't a single show created to be downloaded on bit torrent. Yet they're all there (and in great quality with no commercials), like the guy above me said, from obscure shows in other countries to the most popular ones in the US.
Uhh...what? The original post was what is the most useless basic cable channel and I think it was pretty obvious this was in reference to content. These posts are talking about television sets. That's a different question.
Fair enough, sorry for getting off topic. In that case I'd say the most useless channel is the home shopping network.
It's my mission in life to complain about it in every bar, health club, barber shop, and massage parlor. Choose your reality people. You don't have to pick insane.
ABC Family has some good movies, and a lot of the History Channel shows are fun. I have no use for Lifetime, Oxygen, etc., but I know some people like them. Same with the biased news channels. I would vote for Home Shopping Network and all its many clones. There are enough ads on TV without watching one on purpose.
Only thing worth watching on MTV is Beavis and Butthead now that they've returned. Take them off that network (which they never will) and they become obsolete.
