I'd rather see them raise all Houston speed limits to 65-70 mph...

But this is great news anyways..

Not a big deal for people People outside of Texas. Or people who are afraid to leave their house. Oh, and animals. they won't care. Except the 'expected to increase number of varmint roadkill'. They won't like it. Though technically, they won't know since they're roadkill... so no animals will care.

oh, and people that are sailing. They won't care. Also astronauts...

Feel sorry for you US guys, I'd fall to sleep if 85 would be the maximum.
Gotta love Germany for that, 150 mph, why not?
Remember my stepdad drivin 170 mph for few minutes in his car, felt niiice.
The US speedlimit is a joke in my opinion.

Driving back down from Omaha through Kansas there are stretches of highway that are 75 mph limit, just due to the long distances between civilization. And no feeders, so if you don't see a cop, he's not there; which makes 95-100 mph completely rational. Only issue was they were two lane highways and a lot of truckers, so you nod off even a little bit you stop at the next hotel no questions asked. Also sad seeing all the dogs, luckily if you're not in a rush you can slow down and not roll over them.
