LOL, well it always had, but now its especially bad between Greenbriar and Fannin due to constuction. I've come to the conclusion that every freeway sucks in Houston except for 59 north (to Humble) and 10 East (to Beaumont).

Good...I was a little worried there for a minute.

PS, I meant to tell you, I tried out the shroomery, but things got a little too complicated there so I just went to my neighborhood produce section and bought some ready made crap. The shopping experience was pretty damn good, and it wasn't that hard on my wallet either in bulk, as in 28.

    My bad......

Suncoast Post-Tension is the name of the company (no, not the movie store in the mall).

They provide rebar, and post-tension products for slab on ground developments like hotels, parking garages, and houses.

Nothing sexy, but being as that Houston is the concrete capital of the world, a profitable and growing business nonetheless.

I believe the 59/610 intersection was the intersection with the 2nd most traffic in the nation a year or two ago. I know it doesn't answer your question, but just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

As for the question... I haven't lived in Houston in over 4 years, but I think that drive will take you at least 35-45 minutes. No telling now with the construction that's going on out there, though.

Add an extra 10 minutes to your trip. One of the posters here is bound to hold up traffic :)

Sounds good to me man - so what's stopping you from living on the North side closer to your job? That's my side of town man, I can get to downtown in less than 30 minutes on the toll road from 1960 with traffic, without traffic I can make it in 20 minutes or so depending upon how fast I feel like going on the Audubon.

Half hour each way, non-rush hour. Longer during rush hour.

You'd be better off living in the Heights or Downtown if you are working at 45 & Aldine-Bender than you would living in the Galleria area, but to each his own.
