Maybe us squeaking into the playoffs will help attract other players to our team in the offseason. I mean, at least they'll know we exist.

Chandler sucks!!! I saw some of the Knicks games, he was playing horrible. He was getting done up on rebonds and points by some sorry teams. He is a horrible player, I'm glad he didn't sign with us. Waste of money, haha stupid Knicks.

He's proved me wrong, and has played great! I'll go as far as to say that he has shown to be one of the better NBA starting Centers.

However the thing that concerns me is that he only has one year left on his contract, and may ask for a big pay day after it, and I'm not comfortable giving a large contract to someone whose 30+ years old.

So with that said I wouldn't mind trading him this season, given his current high value, for a young center like Omer Asik or McGee + other assets.

If Dalembert keeps playing this way, whatever we can get in trade for him will be much more valuable than moving up a few spots in the draft. And who knows maybe we're good enough to make some noise in the playoffs.

Does anyone else notice the intensity Dalembert plays with?

The game against the Bucks I remember he was fouled and he took the basketball and smashed it against his face and roared. I've noticed he always is intense about his game. I love it! He's so ferocious, it brings energy to the team.

Him and Kyle do a great job setting the attitude for Houston right now!

Yeah thats definitely one of the really nice surprises. Most of us have seen a couple of games a year with Sam playing but I've really never noticed the intensity he has shown this year. It has been a great surprise.

Maybe, and since that is the direction the org is taking we might as well root for it right?

Even if we personally think it is wrong.

Who made the call to get Sammy? Les or Morey? Either way, good job especially with that short term contract to not bog us down.

I knew he would make the team better. I also knew that it would take time.

    Nice thread, dude!

Sammy playing so good, is really a surprise for me. I knew he was a decent center, but he's playing with a lot of intensity and energy! So nice pick-up, DM!
