I know i've jumped on people for starting multiple threads in a day but here goes. The Congresswoman's resignation ceremony was a tear jerker. I was thinking that woman could run for president one day. i find her relationship with dnc chair and congresswoman wasserman intriguing they are really deeply good friends. wasserman's friendship has been a side story since the shooting. i remember people talking about how close they were when it first happened. anyway, i thought it deserved its own thread. i really hope most of you caught it. i'm sure there is a video that can be posted
quite the contrast with the governor of AZ. I hate to be mean, but I would bet that Giffords could still outscore Brewer on any mental test you would want, even this early in her recovery. At least they are parsecs apart in terms of basic class.
Watching Pelosi launch into some faux-sentimental and entirely hyperbolic grandstanding made me feel so disgusted that I had to change the channel.
i thought pelosi was great and i thought wasserman may have made it too much about herself. pelosi is their leader, whether you like it or not, she was totally in form.
I have seen video of her. She has done remarkably well. She has some issues but they almost seem more physical than mental. The Physical is not necessary for politics. in time . .. I think she *could* make a come back but . . .if she wants to recover and relax from now on . . .then I hope she enjoys it and progresses well. Rocket River
