I guess he figured he could mile the rotation one more game and then have Washington come in on Friday. He should really use the bench more in that game. He may have no choice. This isn't the Celtics Kev.
Doesn't even matter, we were out rebounded by fresher legs, Hill could've saved a lot of rebounds for us when Dunleavy of all people were out rebounding us. Same as Budinger, he could've made those wide open threes Lee missed.
Oh snap, you're right. I feel bad for him. Yes, Parson's is showing some amazing game out there, but tonight we needed some Budddinga to play up. I don't understand McHale sometimes...
Tough loss. Bucks are a great defensive team and Lowry kinda got exposed. Martin scored a bunch of points in the fourth that no one will credit him for. In the long run though, A bucks win and knicks loss is a good thing!
It's not just an abberation or a bad season. He IS terrible. Garbage. I honestly think it would be a better idea to start Hill at PF over him. It couldn't hurt to give him 20-25 mins a game at PF, since Scola is completely useless when he isn't making shots.
Wake up McHale, we can't keep playing with those ridiculous small lineups, we can't keep playin with an 8 man rotation. And he arrived here talking about how le loves size and playing inside... Our offensive game is honestly extremely poor. It does save McHale the fact that we have some smart players who know how to play the game without instructions (Martin, Scola, Parsons, Lowry...positioning, play off the ball, passing...) but the season advances and I still don't see any offensive game. Again, plays?? You can't jump to the court like that, when we are not making perimeter shots, when we are out nor in rythm, we look ridiculous because frankly we play absolutely nothing. Milwaukee came back today repeating 2-3 sets, meanwhile nothing on our part. With Kevin McHale I expected a better use of the roster, I expected size, I expected emphasis on the inside game, I expected a progress on the young players... the truth is that -so far- nothing of that has happened. Really dissapointing.
Duncan, Hakeem, etc. ? You name maybe the greatest center in history and maybe the greatest PF in history to draw a comparison to Hill and Thabeet? Cmon man. Size you can't teach, I'm aware, but you know, learning the proper footwork needed in the post, from scoring prowess to defensive rotations, takes time. And dedication. Christ, all Thabeet did at UCONN was stand in the middle of the 2-3 on D and you wonder why he can't even get off the bench. Starting late does not make or break a player, but it goes a long way in their development. They may be serviceable a few years down the road with the right coaching, but thats the ceiling of both: serviceable backups. In regards to Scola, of course the FO won't stand for the benching of the longest tenured Rocket and arguably most popular.
I agree with to start Hill at PF... when Scola isn't making anything, it hurts the team. Has NO defense at all, getting slower game by game. He's only playing good D when his offense is clicking. Hopefully next game he'll be clicking on offense.
Ugly loss. Too many missed open shots (Lowry was just brutal this game, he's playing too many minutes). Too many layups for the Bucks. This should have been a blowout for the Rox when Bogut when down.
Jesus Christ. Scola has a bad game and your idea is to replace him with Jordan "Impending Doom" Hill?
