Didn't think the Pacers would beat the Lakers tonight, but they took over the game the last half of the 4th quarter. Some goofy plays near the end but the Lakers couldn't buy a basket in crunch time. Balanced scoring beats Kobe Inc.
I still thought he should've taken the last three for the Lakers. Pau open jumper missed. Barnes open three missed. WTF, let Kobe take the shot, I don't care if he gets doubled

In 30 minutes. New CBA aside, Derek Fisher stayed 2 years too long. Should have retired as champion two years ago.
Lakers are finally starting to get their offense unraveled. Lot of pick n pop action between Kobe and Pau at the end. That needs to be their base play that they spin everything off of. They're still finding themselves. And they lost the game. But it's coming together. Kobe sees the need to facilitate when he's double-teamed.

You are bound and determined to stick with your prediction no matter what. We all know they are still finding themselves, but the problems go beyond scheme and chemistry. Their roster just isn't good enough. The gaping sores at PG & SF are two flat tires that must be repaired for them to contend. Kobe needs to facilitate when he's NOT double-teamed. He has to let the big guys get their points early on so he can carry them across the finish-line in the 4th quarter. Even if/when this happens, they still don't have enough talent to contend.
