honestly, being under 18 was the only excuse you had for not paying up on the bet you lost. if you were just a kid i could at least understand that your failure to honor the bet was based on the fact that you were just young and immature...but the fact that you are "an adult" just makes what you have done so much worse. you should be old enough to know better.

 

first of all, that would have never happened. t-mac was never going to average 15 ppg last year. and if he had i would have immediately paid.

second, if i did not pay up i would have held myself to the mutually agreed upon terms of the bet and not posted anymore till i did pay.

we both agreed that if the loser didnt pay up in 2 weeks their account would be suspended...his two weeks were up the first week of last may.

t-mac is thinking about back surgery..i say go for it..if it can prolong his career but the timing has to be right..its a six to eight week recover..i would say do it as soon as the season ends

 

Not much activity from this thread in awhile...Tmac's 7/3/2 in 19 mins/per doesn't seem to trend much these days.

Wasn't he suppose to be in great shape this summer with the long offseason lockout, no nagging injuries, back to 'himself', proving people wrong, yadda, yadda, yadda?

How the heck does he continue to get worse every year? He's only 32, this should be the prime of his ability to compete with experience making up for his lack of 25-ish body.

I hate to compare him to Kobe, but their careers and logged game time are too similar...look at the difference. Kobe is a year older with A LOT more time played and he's scoring 30pts a game at 45.5%. Yeah, Tmac isn't Kobe, but he shouldn't be THAT much worse than Kobe at this stage should he? Apparently so...

Instead he's already getting hurt, brazz24, you said he's thinking about back surgery? damn. No one will pick him up after that.

I wonder how much longer he'll actually play...my guess, is probably one more year after this. If he gets surgery, then this year will be his last.

 

Tracy is just buying some time before he moves into management.

I agree, but there are other variables.

Tracy had many more injuries and quite honest I bet he wouldn´t last a whole season playing superstar minutes. His body just isn´t made for the NBA.
