in order for them to win in the west" -Kenny Smith In watching the games we lost/won with his performance, do you think Kenny was right? Calvin Murphy even had a blurb about it tonight, saying he thinks there might be a "new sheriff in town". Worrel quickly tried to cover saying that it's a team game and wins are for everybody. Just curious - do you think Ming has to become our leader down the road to truely become great? Or can Francis grow with him and be the leader we all hope (and know) he can be. Thoughts?
I guess it is not a matter of who is the leader; but which role should lead. If SF were a center, he might ...
who cares? both are equally important to the future of this team. keep in mind that as good as yao is, he needs steve to keep the defense balanced, same the other way around. this is a perfect 1-2 combo, they just need to continue to grow together.
Who is the leader of the Jazz? stockton or malone? The correct answer is obviously neither, but anyway, i dont think it matters who is considered the "leader" as long as they work well together.
leader? who cares who is the leader..... players must go and play and lead the team to win!!!! anyway, I think Ming and Francis complement each other well.... lots of Francis assist came from Ming...that shows they can play together.....and in years to come, that will be SCARY!!!!
The center and PG positions are extremely hard to fill. If Yao must become the Rocket's best player then Steve must become the Rocket's smartest player (or at least the smartest starter).
