I agree! He's doing everything right on defense, but on the offensive side, he's not performing so well.. besides his put back slams.

I think Parsons is the Landry Fields of the 2011 draft

Although I'm against the one year in college rule, you can really see how staying in college for at least a couple of years really polishes your game and feel for the game.

Not bad for a guy who couldn't even make training camp. Parsons is becoming a steal.

Disagree, I think he's the Carl Landry of the 2011 Draft.

Is he really shooting 28% from the free throw line?

Yeah and he is only like a 60% FT shooter in college.

He passes well and does the little things on offense (picks etc) very well. He's not being called upon to be a scorer, though I do think his ability to cut to be basket will become more obvious as he gains confidence.

That's misleading. Parsons wasn't in training camp because of the botched Gasol trade/Dalembert contract situation, not because he didn't make the cut or whatever.

I wish NBA 2k12 looked at that...they have him rated terrible 61, not to mention they don't even have him as the starter...
I like parsons, I have never been more excited when rockets drafted him...fav college team to fav NBA team...I hope rockets keep him because I personally would say he is my fav player.

He is a pleasure to watch, especially on defense, the guy contests everything! And he plays the passing lane without losing sight of his guy...Lots of veterans still make this mistake.

With the emergence of Lowry, Parsons and the Bear, saying that we are building towards the Pistons' championship model is not completely off base.

Well said.. he definitely does contest everything! I personally think he's a better Mike Miller, or will soon to be.. anybody agree?
