after the spurs game, the entire rockets staff and players should admit the arrival of Yao and should implement him as the focal point of the new Houston offense

When I saw Rox first possesion passing down low to Ming at the beginning of the game, I knew Rudy must have read that Chron article, and Ming's going to get 15+ shots tonigh. I am happy tha I was right. Emperor Ming!

And obviously Chron columnist got ideas from this BBS forums. I am so glad that all our effort has paid off, with a big fireworks tonight.

If they keep playing like this, Rockets game are going to a pleasure to watch. We will be legit western conference #3 or #4 contender. Kings and Marvs are still out of reach for the Rockets this year.

all I can say is WOW. I expected the rockets to get cleaned up just like with the Kings. Well, having Yao get more touches is certainly better than the crap we had before. Rudy said he was looking for his core... well, I think you found a good starting point. Beating the Spurs is no small matter. And 27 points and 18 rebounds against Duncan and Robinson is pretty damn amazing.

I like that "core" word. Some Chinese fans are calling Ming the Yao Core of Rox. This is pretty funny nickname if you know how the government ran over in China, "The core center around commrade Jiang Zeming."
