They were on a long road trip. They're back home now, and you can start loving the Rockets again. I give the nod to our Houston boys to take this one.

They have had a couple of sub-par games in a row. So hopefully they will have a good one.

It seems odds are that is usually how things happen. Dont forget there is a lot of talent on this team. And they are getting a few games behind them, and hopefully will start to get more comfortable playing together.

:D Mobley will not play tonight. He is scheduled to play against New Orleans I have heard. I too am worried tonight. Duncan will be unstoppable if the likes of Thmoas, Taylor, Ming and Griffin are not competitive.

:p If Yao scores 22p/12r/3b tonight against Robinson, Duncan and Willis, I will be amazed. If he scores in double figures I will be amazed.

Ming will be good, he is just not ready for those 3 as of yet.

    Sorry Spurs by 7, 91 - 84

First game of the season I will actually watch live as ******* ESPN Latin America wasn't showing the second game of the Friday Double Headers...

I'll be keeping a close eye on KT to figure out once and for all if he is either the black hole everyone makes him out to be or the glue that holds the team together as heypartner seems to see him... i'm betting on the former from what i've seen of him in the past.

I hope the Rockets win, but if Rudy is smart we'll see Cato and Yao together in the game.

    Shame is, I don't think it'll happen.

    GO ROCKETS!

According to that cover story in the SA newspaper, Karl tried to take off Robinson's head again, so David will have trouble seeing with both eyes. We'll have that going for us at least.

I think the rockets have a great chance to pull this one out if Cato and Yao are in together, but who backs them out when its time to sit? hopefully there wont be a time to sit. Yao 36pts 13rb 4assists.

I think this game looks in doubt. With our power forwards playing funky lately, and two strong 7 footers to smack around yao/cato, it doesn't look good. If Rockets can exhibit one of those remarkably played games that they have on occassion where everything goes well, then they can pull it off. Everyone will have to be clicking full gear or we'll lose.

I've seen the Spurs and the Rockets many times in the AlamoDome in the past few years. Unfortunately, The Spurs seem to have our number. They always wake up for the Rockets, sad to say. Even though the Roxs are coming off some tough losses and are expected to play to their potential, that will not be enough to overcome the onslaught of Robinson/Duncan. I see the Spurts takin this 94-86. I hope I'm wrong, cause I don't like the Spurs and living so close to San Antonio, put up with allot of crap from Spurs fans (mostly Bandwagon types, IMHO).

The Spurs announcer just said (in reference to Yao): "he's 7'6", and skilled... you can't teach either one of those!"

Uh, I sure hope you can teach skilled.

Awesome, Taylor starting. The coaching staff really does read this board! Let's hope KT doesn't shoot his standard 18 footers either.
