    Negative generalizations are bad.

It's interesting, however, that very often, these are countered with positive generalizations, and with insults.

Nobody said " all of them" are such and such. My own experience is that bad service is mostly, disproportionally from black employees. It's different from "All them black services are bad".

So just **** all the bad apples, no matter where they are from. It's just that my personal bad experience is mainly from the blacks. Will I despise the whole black race? Hell no. Does that shape the stereotype of black people somewhat? Definitely.

I don't care much about God. I care about my personal experience.

So you are fat phobic as well as racist. Excellent, what other categories of people do you hate.

I hate ignorant assclowns with room temperature IQ's...I am guessing we wouldn't get along.

Very few things piss me off more than wingnuts using the "content" line to justify their prejudices or make the absurd claim that MLK, Jr. was some sort of closet conservative. It would be like the supporters of King George claiming Jefferson was a royalist because of this line in the Declaration:
Nothing could be further from the truth and nothing could be more absurd than a wingnut throwing out the "content" quote. The OP is a classic example of what has become the norm in Conservative politics and thoughts over the last 30 years. As King said:
I might argue with Dr. King over that because we have seen a ridiculous amount of intentional stupidity designed to further some unrealistic and unobtainable idealogical goal at the expense of the greater needs of the country... or maybe it is done just to piss Liberals off. Regardless, whether it is in service to some false god made in the twisted image of Adam Smith or Ayn Rand or is just a result of a bunch of Momma's boys never outgrowing the mindset of the 4th grade playground, we can't afford to run a country on intentional stupidity.

Wingnuts carve out the "content" line and play it off like MLK, Jr. was against affirmative action and in favor of their grinding individualistic and selfish view, ignoring the fact that King was saying it wouldn't happen until our society completely transformed itself (which it has not). Similarly, they ignore King's views on any number of issues and indeed, his entire philosophy and where he put his energies throughout his short life: civil disobedience, organizing against economic injustice, and speeches that were an assault on the power structure.

A conservative reading of King reveals much more of the reader than King's actual thoughts and actions. By any stretch of the imagination could a person who said this be considered a Conservative:

Would a man who said this agree with the original post?

    Or this?
One of the most annoying things intentional stupidity does is to intentionally take words out of context. Let me help...

That we have threads like this should tell you everything you need to know about whether we have reached Dr. King's dream state.

You say black people are disproportionately fat and lazy and wonder why everyone is responding the way that they are.
"I'm sayin', blacks are ok I guess, but they be acting like I owe them something....negroes gettin too uppity is all I'm sayin'".

My experiences has been that people with jobs they hate tend to give really bad service. Regardless of skin color.

I am not sure where you are getting bad service from though. But I have gotten great and terrible service from all skin colors and haven't really noticed a pattern.

Actually, if anything the worst service is usually the Airlines - and they are usually white people working there. Does that mean I should assume white people must feel entitled? Or that working at airports is a really crummy job that people hate and they are quick to let it out on customers?

Say whatever you want, if that makes you feel better.

But what the fucck does fat phobic even mean? If you think fatness is good then it's awesome of you! You're arguing for laziness? Carry on!

Because you have a lethal weapon in hand. Every time you use that, you can win.

Sam WTF, you're saying you'd rather choose to be a smart, closet racist?

That's most real racists do nowadays. Not fresh.

If Dr. King were alive today, there's no doubt he'd say that we've come a long way.

Having the first half-black president, is an example, for starters.

You are pretty clueless to understanding anything that MLK stood for.

You must be kidding. What are you, 18? 20? 22? Old enough to do two stupid things, with all due respect. One, you didn't post a link to your quote. I'll repeat that. You MUST post a link to your quote. Clutch's rules. Two? You are either incredibly uneducated, in middle school, or a bigot. It could be a combination of those things. Whether you realize it or not, your OP and the rest of your posts in this thread are littered with bigotry. An example:

"And I honestly despise fat, lazy people and unfortunately many of the traits are disproportionally carried by the blacks. So sorry to those black ones, but no sorry."

I'm sure you think that isn't a racist post. You would be wrong. You have several comments like this, cloaked with convenient add-ons attempting to prove that you aren't what you are, a bigot. I'll leave you with a quote from a Bob Dylan song that could have have been written to describe you:

And now I know you’re dissatisfied
With your position and your place
    Don’t you understand
    It’s not my problem

I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
And just for that one moment
    I could be you

Yes, I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You’d know what a drag it is
    To see you

I don't remember asking you if you cared about God :)

As for black immigrants, that is another topic that I can address later. My mother is a "black" immigrant and her experiences were quite different than those of my father an AA. Both were still driven to succeed.

The vast majority of AAs are hard working people..your notions of black laziness are outdated and flat out racist.

I'm sure white people would act differently today if they too had to live through the negative aspects of Jim Crow and they too have been treated as second class citizens their whole lives in America including the moment they first stepped onto the land when they arrived in shackles on Plymouth Rock.

Every black person that I've met have all been very nice.

Except for this guy i met at a McDonalds that started rapping at me for no reason which scared the hell out of me. Turns out he was pretty nice too.

I don't give a shiit to whatever you say, just because you're 60, you knew more than a twenty year old?

And you're a proven bigot yourself in this forum for quite some time already, just like the "awesome" Samfisher. So shut up, go away and don't follow my posters because I have zilch interest in talking any issues with you.

    Thank you.
