    Chucky Brown
    Jerome Kersey
    Pervis Ellison
    Rick Brunson
And what the heck are the Twolves waiting for in re-signing Joe Smith?

I hear ya Dr. I like Los's game a lot and I am willing to be patient with KT. I just posted this cause it seems everyone is wanting to trade for every PF in the league.

Strange to see Matt Maloney and Don MacLean on that list when we're depositing huge chunks of change into their bank accounts.

I think if the Rockets are looking at anyone left in the free agent pool, it would be Brad Miller.

Well we don't really have anything decent to offer as trade bait and it seems that the only affordable players are useless!! Let's get behind the guys we got and hope they prove their worth!!!

No thanks! We have to get a trade involving Drew and the exception for someone like jerome williams. With the addition of baker and rice the Knicks might be looking to trade LJ.

    please NO laphonso ellis

Clutch: B.Miller would be a perfect fit (and a great upgrade over our current Miller) - unfortunately he's a restricted FA (thanks to Francis3 for pointing that out) - so getting him would be mighty hard!!

We don't need any of those guys on that list.

    CENTER HAKEEM
    POWER FORWARD CATO
    BACKUP'S COLLIER, THOMAS

If Cato plays great we make the playoffs, however if he stinks it up, its going to be a long season.

If LOS can stay healthy the whole season I wouldnt mind having a KT and LOS combination at power forward, but thats a big if.Without picking up another power forward I think the key is going to be Collier.

Yeah, I REALLY can;t wait to see Collier play properly! It was exciting getting a glimpse of Langhi and seeing how he wenty in the revue, it'll be great to see him in action in the real league and I can't wait to see how Collier goes!

Damn if all we got is Los,Collier, and KT we
really are in trouble. Plus Joe Smith signed a 1yr deal last week with Minnesota.

    #1 rocketsfan -

Jerome Williams came of the bench behind Laettner and averaged 8.4 pts/g and was NINTH in the league in rebounding. If you can't see how this fits the Rockets, then I'm not sure you know how fastbreaks get started.

Forget all that noise. Cato + one of our #1 picks for Fizer. Worthless Detroit and Orlando picks + somebody expendable + exception for Brad Miller.
Or we could just stand pat and sneak into the playoffs.
Mo might have just become available again (see the new thread).

#1Rocketsfan: What is the answer? Our backcourt generates quite a few points, more than anything else, we need defense and rebounding up front. Jerome Williams could help provide both of these things.

A talented low-post threat would be nice, but I think this could be a talented team without such. Besides, Shandon is capable of posting up ;P.

I think we'll have to wait a couple of years, but this is already making me drool...

Does anyone know if there might be some PF's in the CBA that the Rockets could use? Rudy has been pretty good at finding players that suddenly become good role players.

On Brad Miller from http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/articles/20000821/253983.html :
    <HR WIDTH=75%>
Asked if he would have anything to announce Tuesday, Falk said: "Possibly."

The Laettner-for-Rice portion of the trade, especially if the Charlotte Hornets can be added (Laettner to the Lakers, Rice to Charlotte, Brad Miller and another Hornet player to Detroit), might still occur, a league source said.

I wonder if we can acquire Miller from Detroit using the trade exception, if Taylor goes to Seattle and Miller is our next target.
