They use corn syrup in Dr Pepper 10. Maybe that's where the 10 calories come from and why it tastes more like the original?
It is my understanding DDP started this mess by selling cane sugar DP outside their 6 county territory. Snapple DP could have let it go, but with the following DDP has and its availability to go head to head with Snapple DP's own cane sugar DP, they went to court. DDP was going to lose so they settled. DBW got paid. I'm not a big grocery brand soda guy, but try HEBs cane sugar products. Half the price of Mexican Coke and cane sugar DP, and just as good IMHO.
