I really hope T-Mac gets a chance to go to the second round before he retires. Even if he's 40 years old.

Man Marvin is out and they have a much easier schedule now and Tracy only plays 8 minutes while Vlad does play 40. It is either his knee injury is BAD or coach Drew is done with his effort which one time shows up and the other one does not.

He is using Adelman strategy :)

He plays T-Mac when he needs him. He doesn't play T-Mac isn't needed. I think that's smart. No point in risking injury when he's not needed.

T-Mac has played the 4th quarter of close games against good teams.

Since the big Heat game, TMac sat out the next game ("my knee hurts"); then got 8 minutes; then 9 minutes.

17 minutes in three games since the Heat.

    figures.

Interesting change in his shooting form throughout the years. Starts way above his head like Rasheed used to shoot to just slightly above his head. I like the Orlando form best since it's most like mine, haha! I keep it a little higher to make it tougher for defenders to bother the shot.

Tmac fanatics should stop lionizing him when he has the rare good game

Tmac haters should stop bashing him when he plays his now usual role player irrelevant role.

The superstar Tmac has long left the NBA

Tracy Mcgrady is just a 2nd string guy who can give you a little production when he has plenty of rest. Basically a vet min guy who can give the young guys some advice and the occasional spark off the bech every 5th game or so.

Did you *really* just compare Hakeem to T-mac?

The criticisms have been earned by Tmac's actions, or lack of actions. You reap what you sow in life.

Hakeem elevated those around him. Tmac blames those around him.

The difference is a champion vs. talent that cannot make it out of the first round of the playoffs and continuously reminisces about "shoulda', coulda', woulda'" instead of shutting his mouth and speaking with his actions.

If Tmac's mental gifts, heart and drive matched his physical gifts he would have been a winner. They do not and he is not.

T-Mac died and moved on. It's just McGrady now.

Tracy McGrady (knee) says that he feels fine physically."I’m ready to roll, man. I’ve worked too hard [to sit]," said T-Mac. His enthusiasm and desire is commendable, and he's looked very good in bursts this year, but he'll only get as far as his body takes him. Coach Larry Drew said the team will monitor his minutes and adjust them as circumstances require, but that he'll get "consistent minutes" off the bench

so if he is to get consistent mins off the bench why did he only play 8 mins the last couple of games..but anywho seems as though everything is fine

However, coach Larry Drew said managing McGrady's minutes is key. “We don’t want to wear him down,' Drew said. 'We are going to look at different situations with him: matchups, back-to-backs and how he’s feeling physically. We will weigh all those [factors]. Minutes-wise, he’s going to be a guy who comes off our bench and rely on him to play consistent minutes

    well that answered my question

I'm comparing their fan bases. Like it or not Tracy has a HUGE fanbase. You might call most of them dumb, slow-witted, in denial, etc. But they are fans of a player; seeing as how a lot of people in the NBA underrate and completely forget about The Dream I would think Houston fans would be more empathetic.

How the hell do his back problems mysteriously resurface when they haven't been prevalent for like five years?

I'm sorry but I have to ask: why do T-Mac fans torture themselves by continuing to have interest in his NBA career?
