Ok, I'll just post what I think here; if it connects with the previous threads, cool beans.

I'm a lot more comfortable when Yao takes 6-10 shots a game than when he takes three. The Seattle game was a good one for Yao even if it didn't show up on the stat line. Now, in fairness to Rudy, Yao was going to the foul line in the Kings game; he took 5 foul shots. But that's more what I'd like to see this offense do.

Ming: 7-10 shots on basket, 5-8 foul shots, 3-4 assists, 6-8 rebounds, 2-3 blocks and occasionally a steal.

I think he can deliver that if people put the ball in Ming's hands more often. He needs more touches for this team to be successful.

This last game, they forgot he existed in the 2nd half.

Yes, many fans of other teams agree Yao could get 25 night in and night out if in their teams, but not possible in Huston.

Ok, I will give my 2 cents here. To me, Ming getting few shorts now is within the grand scheme of Rudy's bringing him slow strategy. I guess Rudy asked Ming to focus on his defense first at this stage and it paid off at the Seattle game (it was funny to see Payton rushed a lay-up and still got stuffed by Ming). Ming's defense didn't show much impact at the Kings game, maybe that was because King is a better team and their jumpers were falling. So I wouldn't say Ming has been brain washed, his touches will go up as he was brought along IMO.
