I guess that he can not even play the ball well in a practice game, what is the reason to play him in a real game?

    He sucks.

This board needs to stop talking about this guy and Rudy Gay.

Please don't refer to him as "The Dream". There is only ONE Dream. He may refer to himself as that, but I don't think he is all there anyways.

I have actually given up on Thabeet. I was under the impression that he had not been given a fair chance. It is obvious that something is not right. He has all the tools to be a dominant center. Just no drive or determination. What a waste/shame.:(

You can only use the Amnesty Clause on players that were on your team before the lockout. You can't use it on newly acquired players.

he cant be worse than Hill..

Let him start.. get his 6 fouls by the end of the 1st quarter then put in Dalembert.

    Say no to Hill please

I haven't even seen Hasheem play meaningful minutes. Can't be worse than brad miller in crunch time.

I strongly second this. Put the oaf out there and see what he can do.

I didn't really follow Hasheem during his college time. But based on his limited action in the NBA so far, it seems to me he is the definition of the "he is in the NBA only because he is a 7fter" type of players.

Sure, unleash him. Why make a human being wear a leash?

Lets keep him in a nice and stylish suit, though.

I once had a dog that couldn't hunt.

I had high hopes because this dog looked like a keeper. I really wanted this dog to work out, but it just wasn't in the cards.

One day, we took him off his leash.

    He ran away.

    Problem solved.

Did you still have to keep the dog on your payroll for salary cap purposes though?

Well, he did leave a lot of poop in the backyard.

Don't get me wrong, I am one of those who really hopes that Hasheem can be salvaged by McHale. I'm not ready to throw in the towel on him, yet.

    NO.

i would like to start a poll.

    here is my question.

if you are asked to find one on the houston streets who you think might have potential to play bball, who do you think has better chance to be success, the person you find on the street or thabeet?
