I'm sorry if the players feel this way, but there's just no alternative. We just don't have a lot of talent on this team, and to get talent, you have to make moves. When we have a core of players that we can contend with, then we can stop shuffling the roster, but until then, stability is a luxury we can't afford.

Wait. You honestly think the organization would be better off if we had Hayes and Artest signed to their current contracts? We let them go because they would have cost too much and wouldn't have made us much better, let alone contenders.

Martin is great, but that doesn't mean that he, along with anyone else on the roster, should not be included in a deal for a franchise cornerstone. Les doesn't like losing games and will not let the Rockets rebuild, so the only option we have left is to keep churning the roster, hoping to scratch out marginal improvements.

Can the trade deadline come any sooner?? That's the time Morey usually makes a move.

The Rockets lost their glue guys/locker guys in Hayes and battier. They need some form of player leadership, which Idk if lowry and Scola can do as good as Hayes and battier.

We had the same team but we also had a very unappreciated Rick Adelman coaching. The talent level was still bad last year

    Coach McHale:

“What excuse would you like to hear tonight?” coach Kevin McHale said. “I can cite maybe 80 of them. Everybody’s got an excuse. You have to go out there and do it. It’s a no-excuse league. You don’t make excuses; you make do.

“I’m tired of that. There’s always an excuse for everything. There’s no excuses. Sometimes you have to play hard, just try harder, play harder, compete harder. Know exactly what you’re doing and do it on that play. That’s what it takes.”

You can preach all you want, but if your congregation isn't listening or willing to follow then it is just a waste of your breath, time and effort.

Bring back Deke and just give him any position, internship or (co-)assistant, I'm sure he can light a fire under their asses. Plus he can show Thabeet & Dalembert how to protect the paint, box out and rebound effectively.
