I accidentally wasshed my cell phone. Obviously, it doesn't work. To the best of my knowledge, there is no visible h2o damage, but will the knucklehead at best buy be able to spot the cause of failure? What should I say? Worse case scenario is I cancel my phone plan. They always butter me up when I threaten to cancel.
One of my friends dropped his Nokia phone and it broke. He called them up and they sent him a new one, he told them it wasn't functioning right so they sent him one. In your case, you should try that out and you never know, it might work. Good Luck!
Perhaps you need only run it through the dryer. I suggest "permanent press" setting for 30 minutes. Let us know how that works out.
I think you're severely overestimating the expertise of the Best Buy staff. Take it back and get a new one.
I don't feel like starting a new thread for this but does anyone know a good free website to get ringtones at?
I can verify this doesn't work. I sent mine through the wash cycle and then a full dry cycle. The phone did not... I repeat... DID NOT... work. ... but the mofo came out smellin' april fresh tho'
Depends what phone you have. I go to Mr Tones. As for the Cell Phone problem, who is your carrier? I am with TMobile and back when they were Voicestream, I exchanged my Nokia 5190 (old skool, i know) 3 times, in 2 months. They make you do a bunch of BS testing, (turn off your phone, turn it back on, etc..) but eventually, they will send u a new phone. I guess u can give that a shot. Its better to do it over the phone directly so they cant actually see the issue until its too late
Just get Nextel. Nextel will launch national direct connect in January 2003. That's walkie talkie in other words (free with your service)
My mom dropped hers in a public toilet. She replaced it by saying it was defective so the 1 yr warranty covered it. She fished it out with her hands if you're interested...
