According to HoopsTv.com, this one's in tha bag. Here it is: A four-way deal between the Knicks, Sonics, Lakers and Pistons has been completed and will be announced later today, sources told HoopsTV.com. The Sonics receive Patrick Ewing from the Knicks, while the Knicks get Glen Rice and reserve center Travis Knight from the Lakers. The Knicks will also get Seattle center Vin Baker. The reigning NBA champion Lakers welcome forward Christian Laettner and backup center Chris Dudley to L.A. The Detroit Pistons get John Celestand, Ty Lue and a first-round pick from the Lakers; Greg Foster, Vernon Maxwell, Vladimir Stepania and Lazaro Borrell from the Sonics; and David Wingate, a first-round pick and $3 million in flow courtesy of the Knicks. The host of players headed to the Motor City allows the deal to meet the NBA’s salary cap rules (15% plus $100,000) regarding Christian Laettner’s nearly $6 million-a-year salary. Sources have also informed HoopsTV.com that the Sonics have agreed to a contract with free agent Maurice Taylor. Taylor averaged 17.1 points and 6.5 boards a game last year for the Clippers and has been a popular commodity on the free agent market this summer. Terms and amounts were not available. ------------------
