people should be realistic about their expectations this year, it's not like we've got a ton of talent, we are just a bunch of scrubs except Lowry....let's just develop young guys and try a get a higher pick, we are rebuilding, face it....
Exactly. I don't mind growing pains but the upsides of Hill, T-Will and to a lesser extent PPat don't excite me.
Does McHale feel the need to give Flynn minutes just cause he entered the league when McHale coached the ****ty Timberwolves?? Wtf??
We turnover the ball way too many times tonight. No inside D presence whatsoever. Parsons, Lowry and TWill played well tonight. Flynn looked horrible, it beats me how we released Lin and not Flynn. The second unit would play better and controlled with Lin at point. Thabeet seems cannot time his jump right whenever he is going up for rebound. Sigh.....
This team not only sucks but it's boring to watch. Why did they fire Rick who would have the offense clicking for a guy who can't run offense OR defense, the very thing he preached. Time to hold this coach accountable for all the fancy talk he did before the season. He's NOT delivering.
Ok, first game I actually get to watch this season and this is what I think. 1. This team is going absolutely nowhere as is. 2. Team is loaded with first rate scrubs: Flynn, Adrien, Thabeet. 3. Team is loaded with second rate scrubs: Hill, Williams, Patterson, Budinger. 4. Team is loaded with players who can't play any D: Budinger, Martin, Scola. 5. Team can't dunk: How many dunks did the Clippers have? No agressiveness whatsoever. 6. Team has a hard time getting rebounds. 7. Only one very good player on the team: Lowry. 8. And only two good players: Scola and Martin (and maybe Lee as well but he didn't play). All in all, horrendous game, horrendous play and horrendous effort. Not an entertaining team to watch. I reaaly envy those Clippers fans. Wish we had a team like that.
No kidding! Does he have a brand name yet? Inquiring minds want to know, especially after a game like this. I may have to Goo myself up and head for the Hindu Kush to recover from watching Brian Cook beat us. You are an evil man to put that thought in my head, DD. I just may cry thinking about the possibility. :-(-
It's the way they lost, though.. committing way too many turnovers and not getting back on defense... time after time!! I didn't expect them to beat the Clips tonight but at least be competitive. No way they should have lost this badly tonight.. talent or no talent. Hopefully this is not a sign of what's to come in the McHale era.
