Truly my son was born today, Noah-James Malachi. My wife said no to Hakeem-Clyde Yao Olajuwon, maybe next time...back to the hospital now.
Lowry is a freaking pitbull. He is incredible and if our squad had the same heart and hustle that he does we would be dominant.
Lowry is as competitive as they come, I love that about him. Hopefully he has some left in the tank for tomorrow.
There is no doubt that he is a star. His game is pretty similar to Deron Williams. As of right now Lowry is better at rebounding and overall defense, and DWill takes the edge in terms of passing and overall scoring. However, with the way Lowry's been playing, his passing is catching up to the Paul's and DWill's. Lowry has also gotten quicker this year, which greatly helps his first step and variety of moves to the basket. I'm very excited to see how good he will be. I think he can average 17/9/6 this year and possibly average 20/10/6 in his prime.
Two things: 1) Congratulations! 2) Shouldn't you be with your wife and son instead of at a bar watching the Rockets lose and posting to this board?
3 Things: 1) Thank you. 2) I Watch at home on macbook pro, don't go to bars. (I live in Australia). 3) only got to watch final 1/3 of game, live a block away from hospital, read my sig
He's gonna be like Andre Johnson and be wasted on a mediocre team if the Rockets don't surround him with enough talent.
If Lowry becomes a superstar by the end of the season (at this rate, it's not impossible) and D12 isn't dealt, do you think Dwight would want to come and play with Lowry?
I doubt it. A more realistic option is Houston trading Lowry and pretty much everything else good on the team for Howard, and then having enough cap space to sign Williams in FA. Still, that option is highly unrealistic as well.
It aint about basketball with this current crop of superstars. They all wanna play with their buddies, have a max contract and play in a glamour market like LA, NYC or MIA. They wanna have their cake and eat it too.
