What is your problem? Yao can come back next game and score 20 points. What's your point?

He is still a RoOcKiE! Hes not always going to score 30pts like he did in Dallas. Well, maybe in a few years from now, but he is still a rookie. Atleast we won the game tonight. Go Rockets!!!

I think tommycarluvsme doesn't care if the Rockets win or lose. He only wants Ming to scare 30 points every night. Actually he's a 'Ming only' fan.

I don't care about numbers. Ming helped us win. He came up huge in the 3rd quarter with his passing and defense.

No, I'm not a Ming fan. We should have gotten Amare or Drew or Caron in the draft.

After YM went off for 30 against Dallas, teams started double teaming him. He'll never play one on one basketball again, the rest of his career )

Yeah right. After a big win like that, all you care about is to bash a player who has helped to turn the game around and gave us the win. What a Rocket's fan you are.

I watched four Rockets games so far this year, incluing yao's 30/16 one against Dallas, but I am impressed most this evening by his effort in the 3rd quarter. Team Basketball....that is what fans want to see happen most and what will potentially lead us deep into the play-off.

Agree. But that's how every dominant center needs to deal with. Yao did great against the double teams, starting in the 3rd quarter, by giving out easy baskets to his team mates.

One of the biggest things that Yao did tonight was the pick and roll he had with a number of different players. He did not only get them wide open shots, he placed himself in a very good position to rebound the ball. Missed shots just clanked on the rim that bounced off hard.

Even Tolbert, who was very critical of Yao in the past has basically jumped the bandwagon.

    Great TEAM win.

(i think it was sharon or charlene or something like that). big yao hater, not a rocket fan. very bitter about his life, gets it out by bashing yao (probably had his ex-gf stolen by a chinese guy)

    Another stellar thread by yao1134

Yao's production tonight wasn't measured in points. He changed so many shots and created so many on the offensive end. If you can't see that, then you must be on crack. That is all.

What Yao does it draw a double team and then he passes out to the open man then someone leave their man to try and cover the open man with the ball that Yao just passed to then that open swings the ball to the player who's man left him to try to guard the man that was just open then that player has an open shot and scores,<-thats what Yao does he gets people open shotz he is the reason why people get open and why its harder on their defense when Yao is in and passing well. I mean he is so big he don't have to prove he can score before people start double teaming if they don't double team Yao will score easy and they know that.

According to Sina.com.cn, Yao admitted that he felt exhausted after the game against Sonics. "Obviously, I have not been accustomed to this aspect of NBA (7 games in 7 cities in 11 days). In China, I played 2 to 3 consecutive road games at most" (not to mention they are usually more than 4 days apart).

The current road trip will end in Sacramento. Like most rookies, Yao was tired, which contributed to his low scoring tonight. Plus, Yao faces pressure from outside the court, such as fans, media, and opponents. "I think I have much more pressure than other rookies. It makes everything more difficult. And this road trip is pretty special, I am kinda exhausted".

However, Yao said "Not only I feel much better about the rythm of NBA, but also I feel much better about every aspect than when I first came to the league".

Hope I translated okay. I think Yao is having some endurance problem. But he's smart enough to adjust fast. I think tonight is a good example of changing playing style.
