    i haven't always been a fan of mcnair. this year, he deserves praise no doubt, but remnants of past years will be ingrained in my head.

    What's most ingrained in my head about McNair is that fact that we now have NFL football in Houston.

    To be fair, there's been ample room for Bob criticism. I don't think any of it comes from the fact that he paid a helluva lot for the franchise and brought football back to Houston, but that it took his so incredibly god damn long to pony up for premier FA's is where most of it comes from. That and until this season (and until Phillips came along and made Kubiak look good), he was a perpetual (and baffling) supporter of Kubiak despite all of the years of mediocrity.

    Bob isn't Jerry Jones because he does wut the futball guyz tell him. All our GMs prefer build through the draft.
