Wow... fans are trying to replace him (an NBA all-star in his own mind). That speaks pretty poorly for him. But it only reveals that Brook's basketball IQ is not that of a point guard. He's a scoring guard, but what type of market is there for a 5'10" shooting guard - who isn't too physical? As a shooting guard, he'd of been a lottery pick.

Lowry won the straight up competition with Brooks. And let's not forget that Brooks had established himself pretty well (so Lowry had to show a little more to beat out Brooks). Hence Lowry did a heck of a job winning the point guard duties. He's earned his spot as the starting point guard.

I'm glad that Lowry won the spot. He's a pass first point guard, who also happens to be a tough as nails defender.

I know that in every other league besides the NBA, they value team performance more so than individual ones.

 

I am pretty sure Brooks does not give a single f*** about winning or playing hard. He's just playing ball without any real pressure other than not getting hurt and has already booked his flight to America as soon as the season ends over there. Heck I bet he doesn't even want his team to make the Playoffs so he can get out sooner.

This goes for all of the other NBA players stuck over there.
