http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=ArSvHV0jSBPXL7kEILOeZSG8vLYF?slug=ys-demarcus_cousins_kings_010112 Teams interested in Cousins have called the Kings, but none believe the team will seriously consider trading him so early in his career. Several rival executives expect the Kings will eventually make a coaching change and try a tougher style with Cousins.

It would probably have to be a 3-team trade. With Cousins coming to HOU. Hill, Dragic, a first and another young player to SAC Scola/Martin to the other team. This is when our ties with Sacramento and Minnesota come in handy. Or:
Oh and BTW, you'd need to send T-Will somewhere if Cousins is getting here. You know you can't let those two together.
I think the Kings can get more than just Hill and T-Will for Cousins. maybe just maybe they would do. Patterson and T-Will plus the Rockets 2012 pick (nothing going forward if we make the play-offs) That is a very strong offer Unclogs the rotation aswell Then cut Flynn and sign Greg Smith and keep HIM and MORRIS in the D-league all season long.
Looks like they brought in Hayes specifically to help educate and mentor Cousins, but it isn't working so far.
I love Martin, but that three team deal makes a whole lot of sense. There is no way we get Cousins for a combination of our scrubs. Martin or Scola would HAVE to be involved in some kind of three team deal.
The Kings are so far under the salray cap. The take back just about any thing in a trade. They could take in both Scola at 8.6M and Matin 11.5M for Cousins at 3.6M. The is just mind blowing. WOW! When/if the trade Cousins they are set to killing. I really don't think we will be in the running for him. WOW NOT THAT IT WOULD EVER HAPPEN Kobe 25.2M for him; that is just nuts.
Tyreke and Cousins are angry at Westphal, the two clearly best players the Kings have right now. There's no way Westphal will remain coach, owners and GM don't want to kill their franchise.
The problem all of the pro-Cousins delegation fails to realize... High-potential post players are risk a lot of NBA teams will take. The Kings aren't drooling for scraps from the Rockets' bench. A starter will minimally require a starter. And I queston a rebuilding teams' interest in a $8.5M Scola for 4 years. (The Kings have already said goodbye to Martin). Just me....but I'd question the logic of putting all of the "assets" on the table for Cousins' potential. Then again, it might be the decision (dare I say "risk") that gives the Rockets more Lottery balls.
