Yesterday Bill and Clyde were complaining about T-Mac and his years in Houston.

They noticed that Rockets fans just forgot or never actually saw what he was all about in Rockets jersey when he was healthy (it's was about young ones, who were a witnesses of the last two years drama)

Maybe it's time to refresh some memory or give an opportunity to give something new for the late 2000's.

Booooo the dude. He was a complete human garbage and the worst Rocket player of the decade, right?

Oh, damn it. It doesn't sounds like a true to me

Keep this crap in the McGrady threads. You can't piss on tinman when you are the one instigating the argument with new threads.

Throws teammates, coaches, organization and city under the bus. Some of us are not ok with that.

This is actually a good example of why he never achieved Kobe status despite being as talented, if not more talented, than Kobe.

The T-Mac from the regular season to this playoff series was night and day. He was WAY more aggressive in the playoffs. I was glad he was aggressive at playoff time, but I was wondering why he never played even half as aggressive as this. Posting up, attacking the rim, active defense. We rarely saw that in the regular season.

With all that being typed, I'm not sure I would boo him myself. Not sure why he gets booed by the public, though. I understand why die-hard fans would boo because they knew what went on "behind the cameras." If I remember correctly, didn't T-Mac opt for knee surgery once rumors swirled that we were about to trade for another star?

True, T-Mac always stepped up in the playoffs which is kinda ironic

    Vince Carter

... that actually washed up there. But one playoff race with him, Brooks, Lowry, Battier, Artest, Scola, Landry, Yao, Deke and Chuck could be really good. If healthy, of course

    Good post.

When it was playoff time, you saw a brand new T-Mac. The series versus the Jazz he played as a top 5 player.

But at the same time, if he played at that level all the time his prime would probably been even shorter.

Agreed. His body was made out of glass, his mind as well.
But damn talent he got there. Body couldn't take the mileage. Hence he collapsed.

Not GARM worthy. Some people are saving the GARM!! :)

He's got great moments and bad moments but he definitely doesn't have playoff series winning moments.

The battle with Dirk was great. We had a sorry team, but they were fun to watch.

Will never forget the 13 in 30 or the Bradley dunk. He's one of the best Rockets just for those two reasons.

LOL tinman you're such a troll. You're always fixating on Tmac but the truth is your idol Charles Barkley hates the rockets even more. If you're gonna rag on Tmac then why you don't troll Barkley first? Tmac's never dissed the Rockets like Barkley does on a regular basis, he wasn't the one who said Yao Ming will never score double digits or the guy who said we would be the worst team in the west. At least Tmac has some memorable performances like 13 in 30, all I remember Barkley doing is getting fat and arguing with Pippen.

This thread isn't about me dude.

Notice how I stayed on topic, but you are trying to the change the topic.
Charles Barkley has nothing to do with this thread. There's no Rockets WCF videos. Obviously there's no WCF videos period.

This is about Tmac, quit trolling.

Tmac was the best superstar to watch, till this day nobody catches my attention like he did. I didn't know who he was till we got him. Those were my best and favorite times of being a rocket fan. All the days I called in, the exams I failed cause of that man.

    In T-Mac's defense

T-Mac is/was my favorite player. The Rockets are my favorite team though. So when we gave up "The Cat" & "The Franchise" it was a bittersweet feeling. Honestly though we improved, no longer were we undersized at the sg position. However, as a fan based we loved our back court immensely & the majority were pretty pissed about the move & held that against McGrady. Moving forward though yes McGrady was hurt a lot for the salary he was being paid, but when on the court (not even 100% healthy) he produced.
Especially come playoff time he would single handily beat teams. Versus Dallas with a minimal supporting cast besides Yao (Bowen? Barry? Wesley?) T-Mac shoulder the scoring & facilitating load. Both series against Utah T-Mac showed up Yao was a shadow of himself (in comparison to the season) the first series & the second he didn't even play if I remember correctly. That series he had to do it all Scola was a rook, Brooks was raw, & Battier played amazing d with no offensive output. It takes a team to win a series a player can only win you games. Name once when T-Mac's supporting cast was even close to being superior to the opposition. I'll wait.

...+1 Not justifying the lack luster regular season(s). Its just a very possible, hypothetical, opinionated statement.
