Again. He made it official tonight saying he'll retire for the
third and final time after this season and resume his role as part
    owner of the Washington Wizards.

I guess he can't wait to quit.

He shoud quit. He is too old. The Wizards are better off letting their younger players get more minutes, with him gone. He would make a great assistant coach.

He should never have come out after retiring the second time.

Not quite an Olajuwon-like retirement, but, man, I'm kind of wishing that he had hung it up after last season.

aww com on id wish he would play more. and hakeem. yeah there both old and washed up some (mainly hakeem) but those 2 are players you will never see again and we are lucky to be in this era of basketball. olajuwon has been my favorite player till he retired even though he stunk up his last season bad.

I wonder if Jordan's decision to retire has anything to do with his playing time situation. Eventhough I knew since last year that he would retire at the end of this year, I wonder if Coach Doug Collins refusing to extend Jordan's minutes make him feel as if his skills are not good any more and therefore deciding retirement.

That's good to hear. I think that the Wizard's growing process will go a lot faster without him. IMO Jordan is uncoachable at this stage of his career. I watch Doug Collins telling him plays etc.., and Jordan seems to just blow him off. Even though he is one of the best players of all time, he should still listen and respect Doug. But that's just my opinion.
