Alas! My prediction came true. :D

This was gonna be a tough game for Dallas to win. Back to back with one of the best teams in the league.

Jermaine O'Neal had a monster game. Indiana looks to be the real deal.

Dallas' real test will be to see how they respond after their first loss. My guess would be they continue to kick butt.

What's up with the Dallas hatin'? The Mavs played hard all game and still got whipped. Indy is a good team. I just hope Dallas bounces back and goes on another streak. They aren't getting any respect nationally from the media. But neither did Sacramento until they performed in the playoffs.

We didn't want them breaking the Rockets win record.

This is a ROCKETS fan board...Mavs hatin' is allowed.

Is Dallas in Midwest? You will have to excuse some of us if we dont feel like cheering for an opponent. Especially one in the same division.

    Mavs dont break record

Yes, the mavs lost and are 14-1. The Rockets still hold the record for starting a season with 15 straight wins. But, who cares? Would anyone's feelings have been hurt if the mavs won tonight?
How important is that record to Rockets fans and should it be?
For me, it is important because i remember it so well. I remember where i was when we beat the knicks and where i was when we lost to atlanta. Also, if a team was going to break it, I'd rather it not be the Mavs. (or the Spurs, Lakers, Celtics, Sonics, or Jazz for that matter). I just think that that record is something that set the 94 champoinship team apart from other championship teams.

I don't dislike the Mavs, but it's a Rockets record, like you one that I witnessed, and I do care if any team (other than the Rockets) breaks it. I was extremely glad that the Mavs lost tonight.

Nobody is Dallas hatin, this is THE Rocket's fansite(in case you didn't notice). They are a great team but if they didn't win another game, it would be too many.

    Now that's hatin'.

I had ALL of my wife's family over from Dallas yesterday, and I had to watch the Cowboy's game with them.

We watched the Mavs next. I have to admit.....I might of been guilty of some Dallas Hatin yesterday.

What a relief. I'm a Dallas hater on multiple levels, and proud of it. So it gives me great pleasure to say: Close, but no cigar, Cuban.

I was 97% sure they'd lose anyway, so no surprise.

Come on. Back to back against the 2nd best team in the league at the moment? With Artest able to put the clamps on anyone? Without Lafrentz and NVE?

Come on. They got their asses handed to them, fairly and squarely.

Ron Artest is king. He's, so far, outplayed T-Mac and Finley. This is for those of you who say "so what if he slows them down, they'll still win the matchup". Now Artest is getting his, and LOCKING down big time. I wish we could have his attitude, defense on our team.

Artest is playing great, but I still think he's crazy. Who knows what could happen with him... just look at Mad Max, he had serious game, but not the head for it.
