I impulsively voted for Malone, before it gets public let me put the flame suit on.

    Dear fellow clutchfans,

I apologize for not expressing hatred for two Jazz players in the same day. I understand this is a violation of our credo and promise to not to do it ever again.

Rodman was the better rebounder although Malone was pretty good himself. Rodman was the better offensive rebounder.

Rodman was the better defender because he was more mobile although Malone was no slouch either. He was great at holding his position and making you shoot over him.

They were both very good passers but Malone was better between the two.

Malone was by far the better scorer (jumpers and FTs)

Rodman was a unreliable because he was a headcase while you could depend on Malone. He was consistent and hardly missed any games.

Rodman was a looney. Malone was an *******. I would usually hang out with the loonies but if my life depended on it, I would have to pick Malone The *******.

you must have a really soft team.

I'd go with Rodman, a defensive player of the year and rebounding champion. He was winning rebounding titles when quality power forwards and centers were in the game.

He was critical to championships for two teams.

    Rodman.

You can't win a championship with him as your best player... But I'm not sure you could win a championship with Malone as your best player either. Too unreliable in the clutch.

The mailman was 10X better. But people aren't ever going to give him his due. Other than Duncan he was the next best pf to ever play the game.

doesnt malone have the 2nd most career points ahead of MJ? I would choose Rodman because then I can shoot all I want, he would supply good drugs and he would rebound all my bricks. we may not win but it'll be fun playing with him.

I chose Rodman, because he's less of an *******. That being said, it depends on how your team is made up. If you have enough scoring elsewhere, and need a defensive post presence, you take Rodman. If you need post offense, especially if you have a great point guard to set it up, you pick Malone.

Wtf. This is clutchfans the answer shouldn't even be close. Mailman was the dirtiest sob to play the game and injured countless ballers. How could you root for a team with that unclutch b on the roster? I vote Rodman everytime the man did what was required of him to win, defended well, and was a great on court teammate. I don't care what the makeup of my team is I want clutch winners that don't try to murder others.

I voted for the Worm because Mailman wouldn't be welcomed here unless we could get the young Malone because then history would be re-written.

Think about this if you don't know who Karl Malone was, and you get one of the best PFs of his time next to young Barkley....haha you would do it. He would buy into our mentality rather than be Jazzhole.

Worm is one of the best role players in history but Malone was one of the best at this position.

Malone makes you a better team. He impacted the game in more ways than Rodman ever could.

but do you call him a role player? I know Dennis didn't score but he was so good on the rebounding and defensive end, I would call him a core player instead a role player.

Winning defensive player of the year and rebounding titles are not common things role players do.

    Dennis could guard every position.

well. the nba called him an All star several times, and he's a Hall of Famer too.

When he was with the Bulls they called it the big three, with Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman.

    ;) good call......
we agree he's no Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant at least
He can't take his team to the playoffs by himself.
And if you compare him to Malone....................how many non Rockets would give him the vote? Think about it.
