in 24 minutes is the key. If he would have gotten 34 minutes, that line would be even sweeter. Lowry gets no love from the rest of the nba.
Lowry did not have a great game too many turnovers, this crew did not call his barrel into his man fouls he usually gets. DD
Not sure if you watched the game but maybe you didn't happen to see the plays where he turned it over... First one was an actual TO on him. Second one he got the ball in the corner with 5 seconds left on the shot clock while facing a double team. He tried to drive and got stripped by Z-BO. Not really Kyles fault. His third turnover was not an offensive foul, at least not on Lowry. If anything it was on Scola. Fourth turnover could have gone either way. It seemed like he and Cunningham hit the spot at the same time and they gave the call to Memphis with the charge. Cant blame the guy for at least trying to make something happen.
Lol well my bad i didn't watch the whole game just the late 3rd quarter to the end, but still the stats are the stats.
Yeah I saw the game. He was not that great tonight, and what I meant by the crew not falling for his barrel into the lane, is exactly what I meant......they were not calling that for him tonight.... DD
Which is a shame considering that Parker does the same thing and will get the whistle nearly every time.
How can anyone say he had a bad game? 4 TO or not he still was the only bright spot in tonight's game besides Kmart. He's putting up elite pg numbers 15 8 in 24 min is as good of pg play as u can get sure he had 4 TO tonight but guys give him a little break. Kobe, lebron, rose even the great cp3 have 4 TO games atleast once a weak and still have positive production on the court as Lowry is proving with each and every game. My bold predicting is we're going to be 12 and 8 after 20 games and lowry will be avg 20 10 and 5 and then we will get national exposure as not only a top pg but top player in the league. We looked very good in the first half our team is not as talented as the grizz and Randolph was playing possesed yet we were only down 6 going into the 3rd. I think we have one superstar already in klow and that is why I think u absolutely have to try and make a deal for dhoward even without a guarantee he will sign and extension in hope that he will see he's already playing with the better pg over that guy in NJ. What do u guys think? Is this a good idea maybe do a package of Patterson, Kmart , parsons and a 1st round pick maybe include Sammy if they want but let's say we get howard and Hedo? Howard/scola/hedo/lee/Lowry that's a damn good lineup with hill bud Goran and twill off the bench to give u some nice scoring and athleticism.
I suspect not against this crew....they were calling all the reaches but really not calling the barrel into people call. DD
We've never lacked for good players on offense. We lack interior defense. Ones that won't drop off our offense but at the same time improve our defense. So it doesn't matter whether Lowry can put up near-triple doubles or KMart can score 20+ppg efficiently or Scola can do well in the post. Because until we can get someone who's either a defensive juggarnut(Ben Wallace, Deke type guys in their primes), or get two way players on the interior(Gasol, Bosh, Nene types), this team is still a variation of your typical GSW team. Nice stats. Lack winning.
Thanks for pointing that out DD even though you took what i was saying out of context, i didnt call anyone out, that was not my intention sorry if u miss understood. All I was trying to say was that Lowry is playing like a superstar... And we should all be very excited about our future with him running the show.
And yet he was still the best Rocket on the floor. On a side note, our backup PG play is pathetic. Dragic really needs to get himself in gear, and I have no hope for Flynn
