the last time these 2 teams played Yao was barely getting aquainted with the nba style of Play. I think James should expect a much improved player in Yao. The Rockets lost that game with Yao being a non factor. I think as Yao goes in this game the Rockets will go.

That was before Yao broke out. Yao will crush James. :)

I hope he gets the chance to redeem himself, but for that to happen Rudy actually needs to let him play more than 20 minutes in a game *gasp*.

lol ..Yao had 5 fouls in 16 minutes against the Warriors. Are you sure he could have got to 20 minutes?

Yao is averaging 3 fouls in only 19 minutes of play. My guess would be this will be an ongoing, while possibly off and on, problem through much of this season and maybe into next.

James is the type of center Yao will have problems with. Hes big, tall, physical and has long arms. Centers like James and Dampier are a good test for Yao.

Last night Dampier was clearly dominated by Yao/Kato. Dampier blocked Yao's first shot, but that about all he did last night against Yao. Yao got into foul trouble becaues of his bad habbit of jumping at the charging player (and stupid refs, his last foul was called simply because he was standing there with his arm up, should been a no-call).

Jerome James has a stress fracture in his foot so Yao won't get his chance at revenge.

But Yao didn't play that many minutes in the last match!? I wouldn't say there was ever a match between Yao & Jerome in the first place.

Yao only had one foul in the first half when he inexplicably never returned to the game in the second quarter. Fouls had nothing to do with that. Also, he could've easily returned with four minutes left with five fouls.

He had 2 fouls in the first quarter. ESPN stats were wrong. Cato was playing great so he got more playtime.
