Looks like the Rockets need Mobley... After watching these couple of games...the Rocket offense has stalled tremendously...and there is only one reason...we are missing the Cat Yea...I too hate Mobley's shot selection, at other things he does wrong on defense...but with this team his offense cannot be made-up
I don't understand why people hate on the CAT? He's a shooting guard..what do you want him to do? Just think if he would have been here for the last couple of games and given us his normal 18-20 points a game? We definately wouldn't be staring down a 3 game losing streak!!!!
Mobley's absence is not the reason why haven't "played well". Mobley mental state is part of the cancer that is dragging the rockets down - lots of one-on-one, bad decision making and no ball movement. Mobley is not exempt from those numbing mistakes. What we need is better coaching, better leadership from the Franchise, selflessness, better free throw shooting and a few breaks here & there. We have the Arsenal to score almost on possession as well as defend very well but it is up to every player to bring it to reality starting from the top.
I think we are missing Cat more than we thought we would. Cat tape that ankle up and get ready to eat up S.A. at home.
if mobley coming back only meant that mooch went to less than 15 minutes per game than that alone would be invaluable. ass to that his scoring and it's obvious that we miss him. i don't know who moochie backs up but it sure as hell isn't steve.
I agree that Mobley is an important piece for our team. He is trying to change his game to fit the new offense. But we are missing him now only because we have no good backup guards. Hawkins is good for specialized defensive assignments, not starting. And Mooch. . . That's why the "trade a forward and Moochie for a good backup combo guard" proposal makes a lot of sense.
