I agree this guy makes sense. I wanted the rockets to pick Leonard up as well. Every player on the rockets roster has some major flaws. I like patterson but he is undersized. The only player I disagree on is Lowry, I think Lowry is a legit starter. Wouldn't Kevin Martin be an ideal 6th man?
so the OP is a rockets fan and isn't too optimistic about the players we have. is there anything really wrong with that? that doesn't mean he's a pistons fan or cavs fan. that's just his opinion. it just seems if anyone has a hint of pessimism, they are not an accepted member of this BBS.
Evidently you haven't been following this guy's posts over the last few days. There is a difference between having "a hint of pessimism" and trolling. Doesn't matter - he is gone anyway - fortunately. And Carl Herrera was way out of line, as so often.
ah, i see. i don't spend that much time on this BBS so i didn't know he was trolling multiple threads.
Very original phrase as the title for a pointless thread! If you are affiliated in any way to Houston, and you use this line, you should be shot in the foot.
Bro that line made htown famous. All time great houston slogans. Houston we have lift off Houston we have a problem and the number one saying ever is................... RED RISING
The film also depicts Lovell misquoting Swigert's famous statement, "Houston, we've had a problem" as "Houston, we have a problem". [32] However, the filmmakers purposely changed the line — and the character speaking it — because the original quote made it seem that the problem had already passed.
I thought the same thing. I thought Kyle was better suited for coming off of the bench. I gladly except a heaping plateful of crow and eat every bite with a smile on my face. I'm happy for Kyle and really happy for the Rockets that he is starting for them.
Would upside constitute those teams being in the lottery again, lol. I think we have a playoff calibur team and we are in the west. Barely missed playoffs last year and we have better team then last year.
