Why do we pay Morey when Hollinger gives out his statistical analysis away for free. Advanced stats are helpful but their is more to basketball then Per and true shooting percentage.

These stats are obviously flawed when they indicate that C bud is a decent defender. As somebody who watched every rockets game last season, I can clearly state that C bud is a horrible defender.

It means that you are always looking to create a gotcha moment, and it is quite obvious.

Enjoy Germany, and stop being a dick.

Hollinger is deadbeat for not defining what his 'breakout stars' are worth. This article says nothing new.
Budinger has the tools to become better yet his passive demeanor, his non aggressive playing style does not translate to anything beyond mediocrity in the NBA.
In DD's words good allround player means he is not a good fit next to Kevin Martin, and won't get to anywhere near allstar status soon or never.
His growth from college is marginal and I hate him giving up, when his shot is off.....he is just not asserting himself.

Then stop trying to answer my questions then decide to give up and not finish. It is quite obvious that I corner you once you begin answering my questions...and you don't know how to escape...and resort to shriveling up in fetal position arguments and name calling.

But you are learning, young padawan. Knowing when to give up. I hope to teach you more about the wonders of an NBA coaching staff and complexity of NBA systems and game management. Trust your master.

WTF ever, you are far from any sort of guru.

I don't bother answering you because I don't give a **** for what you say....probably should have you on ignore.

Here's my vote for Rockets Breakout Players:

    Kyle Lowry
    Patrick Patterson

    The end.

Lol it sounds like he has you cornered. Your flustered, using profanity and you have no viable answers to his questions.

Why are you so upset lol

Why are we denigrating players in the process of discussing which one is better? They are all Rockets, guys! It is sophomoric at best.

"The big surprise was that Budinger shot only 32.5 percent on 3s, a development related to his struggles in catch-and-shoot situations. On the move he was more accurate, but his real strength is at the rim.

Budinger shot 66.7 percent in the basket area, many of them highlight-reel dunks, and did well attacking the cup off curls. His secret was that he got so many of them the easy way -- 75.9 percent of his at-rim baskets were assisted, the most of any perimeter player, with many of them being alley-oops".

I wonder how many of Budinger's at-rim baskets (as Hollinger puts it) were from lob passes? About 76% of those baskets were assisted. Is there a breakdown on how many were from lobs? Hollinger says "many of them" were. I remember a lot, but can't recall roughly how many were alley-oops. Just trying to get a sense of whether we took full advantage of what Hollinger says is a league leading number for a perimeter player. That statement surprised me.

But I am your basketball jedi. That's why you can't put me on ignore. Yet, you lash out with a flurry of rash misguided adolescent insults towards a parent in a brave attempt to show you are grown up and not scared in this world....

It does show you are interested in learning though. I can understand this, as I have seen it when training SamFisher and moestavern19 before you.

You have learned all you are going to learn in this thread. Go away with metta peace. And flourish in other threads.

I think most Rocket fans are skeptical of Bud breaking out, but I sure hope Hollinger is right.

KMart may be worth it, but who'll absorb the salary like that. Wait for it ... Nyets. They need to give that guy in Oh!lando something to join DWill with.

He put him into the same category as Ryan Anderson.........Don't see him (Anderson) break out until its a increase of 2, 3 points..
Chase was projected by some to be among top the 25 pick in spite of being picked in the second round.

Not a bad option, the Nyets need some scoring help, and they have a ton of picks.

Hell no! You don't just give away players of Martin's caliber like that.
