So, you're saying we should be happy with this level of playing or at least content?

I say NO! Either K. Mart picks up his game or he picks up his bags and leaves houston! Simple as that.

Well, his heart better check the bank because the rockets do not pay him to feel.

How great was that Sixers team? Sorry, but that's not a contender. I'm tired of mediocre. I'm past being tired of it I'm so tired of it. It's more of the same. It's time to suck and suck hard...and find the next player to build around. We have a group of role players right now built around nothing. It's enough already.

This is what happens when you depend on the numbers only in choosing players. Martin without his scoring you can say he's not even out there.

Fair enough. They won't be great but IMHO it would be a good step forward going into the Defensive and Rebounding direction again.

With Adelman gone, you'd better get rid of his chunk of players, like we did with Gundy's.

No. Just stated KMart turned out better than expected. Unfortunately he had his best seasons with the Kings......

Matt Jackson thought of a pretty decent trade idea surrounding Martin.

Martin and Scola for Batum, Jamal Crawford and Greg Oden.

    Lowry/Dragic
    Lee/Crawford/Williams
    Batum/Morris/Parsons
    Patterson/Adrien
    Dalembert/Hill/Oden

What's the news on Oden's health?
Interesting......wow this is actually not bad....if we presume Patterson is going to evolve into a 15 - 10 monster better than any NeNe Hilarious

We lost that game last night due to Kevin McHale`s dumb ass idea to go small late in the game even though Martin was slumping. If Martin scores atleast 20 his next game we need to close this thread.

No. Martin is Top 40 player. We want allstars or better borderline material.

Throw in Bud for a 2012 1st and you have a deal. We need to see if Lee or T-will can be the future 2 guard. Crawford's cheap contract (for his play), Dalembert's reasonable contract, and Dragic and Oden's expiring contracts are decent trade chips. Though I don't Oden's status.

Kevin Martin is a classic Rick Adelman offense player. I think our new coach needs his own shooting guard in his offense. Its clear he favors big men. Guys like Martin who run plays off screens and through picks is not his type of player. So yes we need to trade Kevin Martin for new reasons now.

I'm sorry but I don't feel that a bad game means u should trade a player...Martin is one of the most efficient players in NBA history and is more than capable of breaking out of slumps...I think it could partly be to the trade that almost sent him packing has put more pressure on him but that will go away in time...Martin is a professional and a class act, I would hate to see him go...also I doubt that we will get nearly the return on a trade of him...unless u r putting a trade to get a superstar player he should stay! Next game 30pts

I think trading Martin and getting a package with Evan Turner as the centerpiece would be ideal. We get a young, talented guy and get to go through a "developing" season. Possibly get Speights too.

Pretty sure the Sixers are dying to give up their #2 pick from last year and Iggy.

It would be nice if you actually put some thought into your posts before clicking 'New Thread'. You added nothing of value when you started this thread. It's just more trash that makes the GARM intolerable. How in the world are we going to just magically trade Martin for a "better player"? Not sure if you were here for the offseason, but the Rockets already tried to trade him for a better player. Why is Philly just going to give us Iggy? Any thoughts on that?

Man we are 1 game in and I already hate going to the GARM. This sucks.

Kevin Martin is only tradeable for a very bad contract, heis owned 24 millions within this year and the next.
I would say let him play his contract out, best case scenario, he helps. Worst case scenario, he is a expiring contract next year, or even better he can be amnestied.

Trading away K-mart because he is having a bad month? Haha. Love it.

Yes, we should trade K-mart. If it makes people happy that he sucks, than so be it.

Truth is the problem is that he doesn't suck. He is *too* good for us to suck, but not good enough to make us great.

Therefore, we need to move him for picks and sucky players with expiring contracts. Him or Scola. we just have to make sure we suck enough to get into the lottery.
