This is how my rotation would be Cato, Taylor, Rice, Cat, Francis,

    The plays I would run:
    1. Pick and Fad with Francis and Taylor
    2. post up Taylor more
    3. post up Rice more
    4. pick and fad with Cat and Taylor
    5. And some motion offense

The people coming of my bench are Ming, Griffen, Nachbar, Charlie Ward

The plays I would run when Ming is on the florr
    1. Post up Ming
    2. Pick and fade with Ming
    3. Post up Ming some more
    4. And some motion offense

In the fourth quarter the lineup will be Ming, Taylor, Rice, Cat, Francis

Oh yeah, Trade Kenny Thomas and Mochie Norris to the Knicks for Charlie Ward. Ward is shooting 40% from three point land and would fit better into the offense when Ming is on the floor. This lineup gives you better shooters on the floor at all times and lets you post up at all times.

Instead of adding Kenny in that deal, I would trade Mooch and TMo for Ward. I would do anything to get rid of Moochie.

Charlie Ward is not a good player.
    KT is a good player.
Mooch is better than Ward, but still not good.

Why would the Rockets do this trade?

Are you on crack? Mooch is the worst pt. gaurd in the league. Ward is not spectacular but he knows what his limits are and plays within them. He also can shoot better than Mooch.

I woudn't do that trade, but I'd do Mooch and TMo for Ward, to get out of Mooch's contract, and because Mooch sucks.

Mooch is not the worst point guard in the league, that is just a bull**** knee-jerk reaction by some on this board to a horrible start. Charlie Ward is a career backup who I would be willing to swap Mooch for, but I would not be willing to "throw in" a player who is better than both others combined.

Mooch isn't the worst, but he sucks.
    Career stats:
7 points, 41 percent shooting. That isn't very good.

Kenny thomas is playing out of position at the 3 and it shows. He is a power forward. If you agree that he is a 4 then you have to make a decision between Mo Taylor, Eddie Griffen, and Kenny Thomas. I like mo and eddie at the 4 better than Kenny. Kenny is a good player but he doesn't fit this team.

Ward is the worst point guard in the league. Moochie isn't that great either but he is better than Ward.

    Charlie Wards career stats

    6.3 ponts, .413 percent shooting.

Hell, why don't we throw in Ming for this guy?

No ABracadabra you must be on the substance. Have you ever heard of the term "upside"? Moochie has been no killer this year, but I'd take him anyday of the week over the FSU quarterback.

Htown don't run your bloodpressure up over this, cuz is trippin.

here is a comparison in career number

    Mochie fg% 41 3pt% 29 apg 3.8 spg .88

    Ward fg% 41 3pt% 36 apg 4.1 spg 1.30

I am not saying Ward is an all star but he is an upgrade to the position. How many times have you seen moochie pass up three's because he cant shoot 3's . If not Ward then who because I dont think Moochie fits this rockets team especially when Ming becomes more important in the offence.

Do yall know Knicks offered Ward and KT for Nick Van Exel and Mavs declined? It's because Ward is garbage and Layden was stupid to even sign him with that contract he has just like th erest of that squad he has in NY. I don't care how much you hate Moochie Ward is the worst pg in the league. You guys want to rade Moochie for a pg who cant even run an Eastern Conference offense? Haven't kept up with Ward this season but last season he couldn't beat Eisley and Mark out of a pg position. Lets do KNicks a favor and let WArd off there hands? I'd rather gamble on Frank Williams if yall want Moochie out of here that bad.

Off course I take Eisley over Ward but keep in mind Ward's contract ends at the end of this year while Eisley ends in 07'. Ward is a better all around player than Moochie, Better shooter, better assist, better defense. I take Ward as a backup point anyday over Moochie. At the end of the seson you while be open to find another backup point if you dont like Ward.

As hard as it is for me to say, I'd take the FSU quarterback over Mooch(but not in the proposed deal). I'll take the passer over the dribbler any day of the week.

You stole my thunder. I agree with everything you say. We seem to have alot of closet Charlie Ward fans on here. Ward for his career is at 6ppg, 4asts and 40% shooting. Hes garbage. I hate garbage for garbage trades.

We would resurrect Scott Layden's career as a GM if we offered him that trade.
