Without the beard, Ricky would look like a 10 year old kid. Somehow he looks 14, even with the beard.

Rockets need another big body. Maybe Thabeet should have been activated or sign Fesenko.

Rubio. 4 possessions, 3 assists. It's not even a surprise

Rubio passes on this level are as sexy as Brooklyn Decker

The first half verdict on Rubio: Very good. He didn't score but he's got game.

This kid has got some vision, you give him leeaway and cut him loose he can really put pressure on the defense. He sees things relaly well, but hell need teammates who can cath his craftiness. He is not fast or athletic, but he is quick and uses timing real well and has a quick dribble. Defeinitely a special nba player. I'd rather take him than irving

on a side note, I know most of this board is straight, but twolves are one of the better looking teams with rubio and kevin love

A cross between Pete and Magic. It's as plain as the nose on your face. The only question I have is how stubborn Adelman is going to be about starting the kid. I think they will reach a point sooner or later when Love tells him he needs to go with Rubio and not look back. If he does early enough, the TWolves will get to the playoffs.

Lets just give him a $100 million contract after first game.

Slow down. We all knew he could pass. Its the other parts of the game that he will need to prove he has. Shooting and defense. He needs to be a decent scorer to keep the defense honest or he will get the Rondo treatment.

This team is a lot more fun to watch than the Rockets (with the exception of Lowry and Scola and whoever decides to hustle that night). Adelman's tenure here made me a big fan of his coaching and is a big reason why I'll follow the Timberwolves this year.

Its not just passing, its creating, he can space and create opportunities for his teammates in a special way. So that in itself is something to be excited about. He could be a rondo type but of course needs to continue to improve his defense and finishing ability. But the guy has a unique and special skill, and needs to develop the rest of his game, but his potnetial is now definitely up there
