Imagine waiting SIX years for Mario Williams to get 8 sacks or over. Thats more a direct comparison to what this is like.

In an offense that can make UNDRAFTED Arian Foster into one of the best backs in the league, similar to how Darren Sproles is doing the EXACT same thing with the Saints that Bush did and even BETTER, why give big bucks for hype when you know the substance isnt worth it?

Though perhaps now with the NEW rules lowering rookie contract scales would it make sense.

i don't really think you were wrong. for the saints purposes, they should have moved him to wr a few years ago. still not a slam dunk that he's going to be a good every-down back for the remainder of his career. damn impressive what a run (no pun intended) he's been on lately though.

He's with a team now who views him as a #1 back and is using him in that way. Who knows what he could have done with the Texans or the Saints if he were used as a true RB. I guess he's proving a lot of people wrong about him.

The guy has actually had a really good career if you look at his numbers across the board. He was a big part of that Saints super bowl team. Not a bust by any stretch of the imagination.

He doesnt fumble like Tiki but he does go down easier than any other RB in the league. That said he has had a big time season. Miami should be .500 next year with him getting 200+ carries
