    Thanks for the vids.

After we make a run at D12 CP3 combo, we should go hard in the paint for hight draft picks, 2012 draft will be legit.

I always liked Barnes game, I think he will be a 10x better pro, then he will ever be in college, mainly because of spacing. I think that this guy can almost be unguardable at the next level, he does everything at a high level, he is not predictable and he can kill you in a lot of ways, I think he posesses everything you want from your franchise player (intangibles included).

And the best part is that I think he will not be a top 3 pick, because people mock his athleticism. Gms will go for the flashy players, and Barnes will be there at the 4th pick, and then it is all about Morey going to work.

    Keep up the good work

To me it's either or. Rookies simply don't win in this league.
The fact that this is supposed to be a good draft only gives you more leverage, so if you luck out on Dwight Howard, IMO you take a hard look into trading your draft picks/rookies for proven & possibly still undervalued players.

Not to derail this thread, but I don't know what seemingly everybody sees in Barnes. There's just nothing that screams superstar to me.
Granted I haven't watched him a ton and maybe I'm just way off on him, but I don't get why people are so crazy about this guy.

And yeah, thanks again for making these batkins! :)

I understand where you are coming from. Thing is, if we get D12 CP3 we will most likely have no draft picks for the next 20 years and Arenas for 10 more years at 20M a year ;)

As for your opinion on Barnes, don´t think that everyone is praisng Barnes these days, in fact, I think Barnes has disapointed the media that covers College b-ball. Most of the mock drafts had him being the clear cut number one for 2011 in the beginning, now there are ??? about his ceiling.

As for why he will (IMO) be great in the NBA, he has the 3 most important aspects for me as a young player:

He has the fundamentals/IQ, doesn´t rely on athletic ability to score.
He plays bouth sides of the ball.
And he has that mid-range game, that opens the ofensive game for every single player regardless of position.

I think Barnes at worst, in the right situation, will be a joe Johnson type player, problem is, he can also be at best a joe johnson type player, meaning that he will make your team alot better, but he will not carry you alone to the promise land (nowadays who does?).

And I think that at 6´8, big wingspam, ability to bang inside, plus getting rebounds, I think that this guy is a missmatch every single day at SG in the NBA.

Barnes at this point is a sure pick that is why we are talking about a 3rd to 6th pick most probably, and not a 1st and 2nd (Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond), at this point.

I think cause of the fact that a lot of people don't see Harrison Barnes with the upside they see in Davis, Drummond, Jones III or even Lamb(with his length and athleticism), we could see Harrison Barnes drop on draft night.

Marvin did close to nothing at north Carolina. I still like other players in this draft over Harrison though.

    No Barnes is terrible.

He didn't live up to the Pre-Season NPOY, SI Best Freshmen of All Time that has been plastered on his potential.

He is a jump shooter with a questionable shot. He lacks elite slashing skills. His court vision is bad for the next "great SF." He did not improve much during the summer of freshmen/sophmore year. Statistically, based on on court performance, he is not even NC's top 5 player. Worst of all, his athleticism doesn't even allow him to blow past college players.

In the NBA, a college player without one of elite athleticism, shooting, slashing or passing doesn't really succeed.
