Anyone want to guess what the starting lineup will be tonight?

    I'd go with:

    Cato
    Maurice
    KT
    Hawkins
    Francis

Ming and Griffin are much better off the bench for right now. Especially Griffin. He is still too young to hang with the really big boyz. Let him come of the bench and hang with the second stringers.

Dang, we need Mobley back. But here is the starting I think is going to happen.

    C-Yao
    PF-Griffin
    SF-Rice
    SG-Hawkins
    PG-Franics

Ming is a solid contributor and should start. Hell since Rudy is experimenting, why not give B Nach the nod!

Another brickfest to look forward to. I hope one of these teams will be able to shoot better than 35% tonite. Right now our team is so f*d up on so many levels that we're not even gonna get the 8th spot unless MAJOR adjustments are made.

    Starters- Ming,MoT,Rice,Francis,Hawkins

This team needs this win badddddd.

Lose tonight expect a losing streak. The schedule is tough until the end of December.

Rudy will earn his salary if we make the playoffs this year.

This is a pretty important game IMO. Given our schedule over the next week or so, this is one that we can't let slip.

We match up well with the Warriors. KT is useful against the Warriors. We can afford to match him up with Jamison, wherever Jamison plays. If Cato and Ming can out-do Dampier and Foyle, then this game is ours.

Of course, I'm expecting ontribution from Rice and Ming for this win. Francis, as usual, has to have a huge night.

Warriors make a winning basket in the last 10 seconds of the 4th quarter. Warriors win 87-86.

If we play like last night the Warriors will win this game, if we show up and play like we can then it will be an easy win.

With the likes of the Soncis, Kings and Spurs coming up I would surmise this game is a VERY important game so this team can tread water. It would be a miracle if the Rockets came back after this road trip with a .500 or better record. I sudder to think the score of the game against the Sonics and Kings if the Rockets continue to stink it up in shooting.

Nevertheless, trying to stay positive...I think the Rockets win tonight. Ming will have a lot of support from the Asian community tonight at the Warriors game and I think he will go off for some big numbers. :D

Not starting Ming would be a joke. He's been solid for the past couple of weeks, and playing him off the bench doesn't make sense when the best way to use the guy is to get him as many minutes as his body can handle (on back-to-back nights, 3rd game of the road-trip).

Don't forget this game's in Oakland, where Yao drew 8000 Asians (about half flag-waving Chinese) to the exhibition game back on August when team China played team USA. Listen for the cheers on TV tonight when Yao touches the ball.

Good point about Chinese fans. Maybe Ming WILL get pumped up?

If so, a solid game from Cato as well would get us the win. The Warriors are a teamw e need to beat, so that we can afford to lose against the Sonics and the Kings.

Warriors are very......Defendeable? If we try, we'll succeed.

Have we heard the reasoning behind not playing Cato at all last night? I am not convinced that Kelvin is going to get solid playing time for awhile.

No, this not accurate the score will be 155-135 GS. GS figure out Rox cannot shoot at all. So they decide to stand still without moving their hands on the court and let Rox shoot all they want from the FT or 3pt line. And the FG% will still be below 30. :D :p

This game is should be an easy win for the Rockets, if Steve, Glen, Yao, and the rest of the team shows up. Hawk should be able to defend Richardson pretty well, and he won't put 30 up on us like last time. The only potential problem I see in this game is Dampier. He's playing like a bat from hell this year. I think it would be wise to have a big body like Mo defending him most of the night. IMO, Yao will get abused by Dampier's bulk.

This game is very important for the Rox. It's important to always be a few games over.500.

Every game is important. Rox just blow them one by one.
