Interesting, so the Kings offered him more $$$ but he still turned them down? Maybe some bad blood between him and Kings FO?
Yes, putting in countless hours to acquire Gasol and Nene is proof that DM wants to tank this season or in the near future.
I hope Houston fans are smarter than that. This whole off-season reeks of Fool's Gold. The goal shouldn't be to make the playoffs, the goal should be to win a championship. Again, see my sig.
Dude, you have no credibility here. History shows that you will have something negative to say no matter what move the Rockets make. Your act got tired long ago. Case in point.
So can we pick up the option after the free agent period next summer? That way we can sign/s&t/trade for a star (preferably center) and then go over the cap to re-sign Dalembert since we'll have his rights. #wishfulthinking
dalembert is sufficient. he's a 50-50 shot at a double-double every night and blocks shots. he doesn't get injured (which is refreshing) and crashes the boards. sounds like the defensive brad miller.
8th seed here we come. Les just doesn't get it, Im so tired of watching his barely competitive teams. Wonder if he's ever heard of the phrase "If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always have gotten. Same old, same old.
Well then if this is where Daryl's thrown his chips, into the "hope and pray for another Gasol Trade before I get fired", then so be it. I feel like I know what Morey's philosophy is definitively now, and a sig change is coming soon. If this backfires, however, that's it for me. I've defended Morey throughout the beginning; I identify with the guy at some level. But this blatant refusal to consider how teams improve in the history of the NBA is either going to be his tour de force or his undoing. Somehow, though, like Clutch said, it's still kind of hard to figure out what direction this franchise is headed in. In this NBA, purgatory is worse than hell. I'm starting to get frustrated already. Let's hope with Morey that he can pull this off.
