Youtube buffer seems to suck now?

I've never noticed much of a problem with it, but over the last week or so it seems like nothing can play without a lot of terrible buffering.

This is true at my house and at my office. Anyone else experienced this?

I wonder if it's related to the new layout changes. (although I don't know what they could have changed that would have this kind of effect)
