definitely better than last time offensively.
but I think he'll match up against Dale Davis most of time, for he's a starter this time around.

yep...but dale davis is very foul prone so maybe he will get a lot of action against sabonis after all.

Yao is much too quick and agile for the slow and aging Sabonis.

If he can contend Kandi (10pts,4rbs), DD should not be a problem.

Yao needs to have a good start-off.
Couple of dunks will do. Then one of them between D and Sabonis will get serious foul trouble.
The key for Rockets and Yao is to get a good start. Otherwise, the ball may not go to Yao's direction that much as we all know.

Speaking of foul trouble... Yao seems to be doing a better job of avoiding them now than at the start of the season.

He's clearly learning quick. Although there's a teeny weeny part of me which believes that the refs may be cutting him a little slack after all the early season crap he got in the press. No way to prove it of course. Not trying to be cynical at all coz I'm a big fan of the kid (who isn't nowadays!!!).

If he starts and there aren't any plays run for him expect a BAD game! If he gets off to a great start then expect a good game!
