Knox is going into back surgery today but is expected back next year. Really worried about the guy when we saw that live yesterday.
[rQUOTEr]Now, with a fairly simple combination of outcomes far less crazy than others we’ve seen connect over the years, the Eagles could still steal the NFC East crown. One, cut a hole in a box beat the Cowboys on Christmas Eve. Two, hope the Jets beat the Giants. Three, beat the Redskins on New Year’s Day. Four, hope the Giants beat the Cowboys.[/rQUOTEr]
Don't get me wrong (as I'm a Cowboys fan)...but I would be shocked if Cowboys take care of business and make the playoffs. I think it's going to come down to the last game @ NY and you have to give that one to the home team Giants imo. Cowboys never do well in away must-win games. In fact, I would submit that it really doesn't matter if the Cowboys win the crown because they will lay an egg on the first road playoff game. Cowboys seem full of themselves after beating up on a bad team. They "think" they are playing well now and are starting to figure it out. It's fools gold. If the Jets beat the Giants, then Cowboys best shot is if they take care of business at home against Philly. If Giants win, then I would almost prefer Philly blow out the Cowboys in Jerry Land. Because, I don't think the Cowboys can play three great games in a row to end a season with last two playing division rivals. I would rather a pissed off Cowboys team that lost badly to Philly go into NY than a team feeling good about beating Philly. Even if the Cowboys make the playoffs...then I expect a quick exit. They will be on the couch watching with everyone else sooner rather than later. So, you could say my expectations are low and looking for Cowboys to do something "different" than what has become the status quo with the Cowboys...which is to disappoint.
The Giants piss me off so much. Just when it looks like they're about to turn a corner, they completely s**t the bed against an inferior team. The AFC West and the NFC wildcards are going to be ridiculous this year.
The last time the Cowboys had any must win regular season games (2009), they went 3-0 to finish the season, including two road wins, one against the 13-0 Saints. They then proceeded to win their first playoff game.
The Chiefs won that game for Romeo. Todd Haley won't get another coaching job, unless he changes his ways.
I agree. Haley's way too intense for his own good, and it rubs off on his players in the wrong way. It's one thing to be fiery, and passionate (like the Harbaugh brothers)....it's another thing to be a jerk and a douche.
That would be awesome and it is not all too impossible. 1. Eagles need to win their next two (@Dallas, Washington) 2. Jets need to beat Giants next week 3. Giants need to beat Cowboys in week 17. That's all I want for Christmas!!!
It would be based on conference record and we would hold that tie breaker if 3 teams are tied at 12-4. Whether it be pats texans and ravens or pats texans and steelers.
AdamSchefter Adam Schefter [rQUOTEr]Here we go (or not) RT @SteelersDigest: Power outage at Candlestick Park. Pretty much a total power outage, too. Scoreboard, press box.[/rQUOTEr]
ahhhh I hope all is well I was really looking forward to this game. I guess I might go to the gym....
