Buy Cassette Tapes?

    I inheirited my dad's car, and I'm sick of all the commercials, the car doesn't have a CD player, but it does have a cassette player.

    Everywhere I look is selling blank cassettes, I want cassettes with music, like they used to make.

    Any chain stores that still sell tapes? I don't live near Houston, so a local shop is useless.

    I'm not shelling out for a new audio system on a car that won't be mine in two years.

    Cassette tapes are cool. They have a lot at the larger Half Price Books. A lot of used record stores have a bunch sitting around somewhere, too. Sometimes you have to ask, because they don't exactly sell so they just keep them in a box somewhere.

    If you come over to my house (in Houston, westside) I'll give you a bunch of cassette tapes of 70's rock and blues. Love for you to have them, just collecting dust over here. I'd never play them again. email me for the address and a time.

    just buy the blank ones juice.

    It's all about the mix tapes anyways. All the better if you hear the needle drop and the unique pops of your record. And you'll need one of those cassette briefcases -- and a spare pencil.

    You guys joke, but cassette tapes are making somewhat of a comeback. There's been some "Cassette Labels" pop up that are catering to the indie crowd.
