I tend to agree with this. And this is coming from one of the board's more condescending posters, in agreement with one of the boards more obnoxious posters. Maybe it's an ESL/poor communication skills-type thing (of course I'm making a wild assumption here)? I can remember one particular YOF who seemed to get VERY testy with people who disagreed with him.. EDIT: Nevermind, I guess he's from Arkansas. Just a rude dick then.
A guy who can't shoot is going to have trouble in this league. If you can't shoot you need to be an elite defender or something. I just don't see it with rubio.
Just checked his profile. Could be an expat? None of my business anyway, I was just speculating earlier.
Why are you so worried about how you can figure out who people really are on the internet? I have noticed that about you over the years......you must be trying to hide something...... hmmmmmm?????? If you want to, you can find out pretty much who anyone is.... DD
That Minnesota pick is going to be worthless. They are going to the playoffs. Great move David Stern!
I've been a Rubio guy for a number of years now. Will be interesting to see if I was in the ballpark in terms of his play and impact on the game.
What the hell? So Rubio is HOF after 1 preseason game against the Bucks? Get real. Let's see how great Rubio is once teams just leave him open and never guard him all game long, like they did in the Euroleague. He just stands there looking confused wondering what to do if he can't pass it, then he throws up an air ball. It's unbelievable how low the general basketball IQ is in this forum. Shocking even.
Guess what? I've seen him play for years. He has not improved one iota since he was 15 years old and as soon as teams stop guarding him and make him become a scorer - he will suck, like always. In other words, you simply have an extremely limited knowledge about Rubio, and are arguing with someone who has been watching him play since he was 15-16 years old. You are so wrong and yet you simply don't have the basketball knowledge to grasp it.
I get so tired of you putting everybody else down as having extremely limited knowledge compared to you. You have no idea the basketball knowledge I have. I would venture a bet I've forgot more basketball than you know. You won't even put up a wager to back up your braggadocio.
The Wolves young ralent is off the chart.Ricky Rubio,Kevin Love, Derrick Williams, Beasley, Wes Johnson, Anthony Randolph....Thats a heck of a core to build around. In 3 to 5 years they will be a very good if they can maintain this core.
Yeah, they have a much better roster than the Rockets do for the future anyway...dang it. Rubio is going to be really good......Jason Kidd part 2??? DD
Rubios size is a massive advantage as he can see over the defense. Big PG's like him as valueable as they can see the floor alot better then the smaller types. On defense he tends to play the passing lanes because of his long wingspan and extremly quick hands. That works both ways though because the element of risk is high especially in the nba. He is a typical floor leader even at his young age. He looks like he dosent get flusterd to easily and has good leadership qualities. I think he can along with Love can turn that franchise along if he dosent bolt for NY where he supposedly wants to be.
