1st one was the best a true spy espionange (sp) film second one was lame... Too out of reality. Third waa good if i remeber correctly. I will see this movie...
So, what do those who have seen the 3d IMAX have to say about building elevated stunt scenes. Did you feel like you were going to fall? I still can't believe Tom did all that versus just using a green screen and smaller model.

Well when I went to Edwards on Thursday they only had it in IMAX and it looked great! I can't believe I've never seen a movie in real IMAX before that. I wish there was one closer to where I live. If you can, definitely watch it in IMAX.
basically it goes like this looks great, sounds great, fun to watch. plot sucks, too confusing, corny lines.
Loved it, thought the action was fantastic and the IMAX made it pretty breathtaking at times. The plot wasn't great and a bunch of holes to discuss but its a popcorn flick not an Oscar nominated movie.
Plots straight forward and simple, huge action set pieces which are really impressive. Probably one of the most fun action movies I've seen in a long time.
I really liked it, the action was good, the plot wasn't deep or anything but it served as the catalyst for all of the action well enough.
I thought the plot was exactly what a movie like this needed. There isn't much room in this movie for deep plot twists or complicated scenarios to mull over -- this is the type of movie where you grab some popcorn, hang on to the edge of your seat, turn off your inner Roger Ebert and just enjoy the great action for two hours. Very satisfying experience especially on IMAX.
The Bond movies are kind of weird, bunch . . . There's continuity, but it's very faint and even purposely ignored at times. There was a time they couldn't even use the whole "SPECTRE" moniker, because of a legal rights battle. It also does not help having six different actors with six different approaches, a boatload of directors, and about an infinite number scriptwriters. One could observe differences between You Only Live Twice to OHMSS to Diamonds Are Forever/Live and Let Die to the Living Daylights/LTK to Goldeneye/Die Another Day to Casino Royale. The (Ian Fleming) novels are much more interconnected, since the novels were written by same person with purpose of having and on-going set of stories. Differences: - Felix Lieter was fed to sharks in Live and Let Die, but like the film, I do not remember him dying and appearing in subsequent stories. -Honey Ryder had busted nose and blackeye, obviously abused, from Doctor No. - You Only Live Twice is a direct sequel to On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Bond is almost being sent into exile by being sent to Japan. - Goldfinger was only 5 feet tall in the novel, and the laser scene in the movie, was a chainsaw in the novel. - Solitaire from Live and Let Die, is half Haitian. - The plot of Moonraker is about a bunch of crazed Nazi's trying to blow up London, whille the plot of the movie Moonraker . . . I have no f#cking idea. The same with the Spy Who Loved Me, but they couldn't use the novel's story, though and it wasn't even written from Bond's narrative or a typical adventure story. - From Russia with Love, in the film, the device that everyone is trying to get is the Lecktor, in the novel, it's Spektor. While, all of the baddies work for SMERSH, not Spectre. In the end, Bond does actually get stabbed by Klebb with the poisonous blade and is left unconscious until the next story. - Most of the movie plots are very similar to Thunderball (novel).
Well I was skeptical but came away extremely satisfied. It was probably the most balanced of all of them, but I still think 3 is my favorite. Love the continuity between the last film and this one...that was a big sticking point for me going in and they handled it well. And the action...wow. Entertaining and painful to watch!
